Portugal edged out Ghana 3-2 in their opening game, which was followed by a 2-0 win over Uruguay. Then despite losing 2-1 to South Korea, they finished top of Group H. Portugal's best performance came in the last-16, where they thrashed Switzerland 6-1, only to then lost to Morocco in the final eight.
