BOG may be a staple at many betting companies these days, but you still won’t see it offered everywhere. Plus, Ladbrokes is one of very few that offers it for greyhound racing, as well as horse racing.
If you’re new to BOG, it means you’ll always secure the best price on winning bets on horses and dogs: the price you backed it at, or the Starting Price; whichever is bigger.

All these three relate to placing Accas and here’s what each one of them does:
- Boost – Where available, click the Odds Boost button to increase the odds on your acca.
- Track – Keep an eye on your acca, remove losing legs, use Cash Out; it’s up to you and it’s all at your fingertips.
- Free Bet Back – When placing accas with at least 5 legs in them on selected football markets as your first acca of the day, you can get a free bet up to £10 if just the one leg lets you down.
2Up & Win
If the team you back goes two goals up in their match then your bet will be settled as a winner, even if they fail to win the match.
20 Free Spins
When you opt in and bet £10 on selected Sports markets, using minimum odds of 1/2, you'll get yourself 20 free spins to use on Wild Storms, Tiki Tower Jackpot Drop, Shamrock’s Lucky Clovers or Dam Builders Cash Drop.

Ladbrokes Review
Ladbrokes is the oldest bookmaker still operating in the UK. Founded in 1886, it became one of the most popular bookmakers in the UK. In 2000, it launched its online betting site, which is still one of the most popular betting sites available in the UK. It has a great reputation, although some online reviews left negative comments about the bookmaker's website.
Ladbrokes Pros and Cons
And here’s a quick summary of what we consider to be Ladbrokes’s biggest strengths, alongside a few of the site’s shortcomings.
Positives
- Excellent welcome offer for just £5;
- Live streaming service available;
- Daily promotions and odds boosts;
- Easy to use mobile app;
- BOG available on both horse and greyhound racing;
- Frequent opportunities to claim free bets.
Negatives
- Bet builders limited to football;
- Limited promos for sports other than football and horse racing.
Ladbrokes Key Sportsbook Features: What Makes Signing Up Worthwhile?
The Ladbrokes sign up offer is certainly a major benefit for new players, but what else makes Ladbrokes worthy of your time and money? Below we’ve listed some of Ladbrokes’s greatest features for existing customers.
In-Play Betting
Ladbrokes have fantastic in-play betting options available on a wide variety of sports. While doing this review I looked at some of the in-play betting options and could see great in-play options on sports like football, tennis, cricket and basketball.
Cash Out
Ladbrokes is one of the best sites for cash out fans, allowing you to partially and fully cash out your bets to ensure you secure profits from winning positions and limit losses from losing positions. Cash out at Ladbrokes is available across multiple sports, for both pre-match and in live betting.
Excellent Variety of Sports and Markets
In addition to the more obvious and popular sports like football, horse racing and cricket, you can also bet on the likes of surfing, esports, speedway, water polo and pool. Within these sports are a fantastic range of betting markets that should cover all your betting impulses.
High Quality Blog
Though the content mostly covers just football, horse racing and politics betting, these articles feature some extremely valuable news and analysis of the latest odds on popular betting markets. Very few betting sites are able to offer this kind of quality analysis to its users.
Great for Football Bet Builders
Unfortunately, bet builders at Ladbrokes are limited to just football, whereas other betting sites now offer them on the likes of basketball, cricket and NFL as well. However, the good news is that it’s a pretty impressive product for football, with lots of markets to choose from when it comes to crafting your selections. There are also plenty of pre-built ones available if you prefer.
BOG/Odds Boosts
Getting increased payouts because of higher-than-usual-odds being available is paramount to you boasting a healthy P and L. Thanks to regular Odds Boosts on plenty of daily markets and the Best Odds Guaranteed promise on all UK and Ireland horse racing and greyhound racing, you can be sure that you’re getting the best possible price at Ladbrokes.
Sports You Can Bet On at Ladbrokes
The amount of sports offered at Ladbrokes was something that really stood out to me. They have 33 sports currently available on their site along with some other markets such as politics and TV. Below is a full list of every sport available with Ladbrokes.

What Betting Markets are Available at Ladbrokes?
Here are some of the sports and markets we found particularly good to bet on at Ladbrokes.
Football
An obvious place to start but there’s a good reason for that. Not only is any competition you can think of covered at Ladbrokes but there are loads of markets within each match, league or tournament. What’s more, the odds are always competitive, the bet builder product is impressive as we mentioned previously, and there are some useful stats above the markets to help you on your way.
Cricket
A lot of the same can be said about cricket. During the 2024 T20 World Cup we found no fewer than five Odds Boosts per match, plus a variety of specials around the individual performance of a certain player. We also saw plenty of pre-picked bet builders based on the individual performances of a number of players across multiple matches. Ladbrokes clearly knows their stuff when it comes to cricket.
Horse Racing
There's action from the UK, Ireland, France, South Africa, Japan, Australia and the USA, to name but a few.
Each race has around 12 different markets to bet on such as Totepool, Forecast, Betting Without the Favourite, Place Insurance and Top Finish.
You can also look forward to watching races in live streaming and/or listening to audio commentary, and as we know, there’s the Best Odds Guaranteed ongoing offer for bigger payouts.
Banking With Ladbrokes
There’s no shortage of depositing methods on offer here, though there are less available for withdrawing.
Ladbrokes is an example of a PayPal betting site but as you’ll see in the tables below, you can’t use it for withdrawals, only deposits. The use of Visa and Mastercard Debit cards may be somewhat old school but most people will have one, they’re simple and quick to process transfers and you can use the same card for both getting your money in and out; so they’re as good a payment option as any.

Our Experience Using Ladbrokes
If you were just looking to have one betting account, you could do far worse than having it at Ladbrokes. The brand has been around for almost 150 years, which is a testament to their commitment to their customers.
Firstly, I thought the welcome offer was generous – I rarely see an offer that can be claimed with just £5 – and was impressed with the 40+ sports you can bet on. After comparing them with other betting sites, I also felt the odds were competitive and was glad to see a number of special features to take advantage of, such as regular bet boosts across plenty of different sports.
I found their cash out feature to be efficient and easy to use, and watched live streaming with excellent picture quality and no delays. I also enjoyed reading their blog and found more useful content in the form of their FAQs, which meant I didn’t have to be in touch with Customer Service unless it was really necessary. I had a never-ending choice of markets to include in my football bet builders and when it came to depositing and withdrawing my money, I found more than enough options and all my transactions were processed quickly. So plenty of boxes ticked in terms of what you’d want from a sportsbook.
There’s not a huge amount to improve on other than providing bet builders on sports other than football, and maybe mixing it up so that their promos cover more sports than football and horse racing. But there really isn’t much missing here.
