Celebrities are paired with professional ice skaters to compete in an ice skating competition. The show has been on the air since 2006 and is produced by ITV Studios. Each week, the celebrities and their partners perform a series of ice dancing routines, and they are judged by a panel of experts. The couple with the lowest score is eliminated each week until the final, when the remaining couples compete for the title of "Dancing on Ice champion."

Who is the favourite to win Dancing On Ice?
Before the show started British Gymnast Nile Wilson went into the competition as the bookie's favourite at odds of 3/1 because of his athletic ability. It looks as if the transfer onto the ice has been natural for him as he leads the betting. Nile is a five-time Commonwealth Games Champion and also has a Bronze Medal from the 2016 Rio Olympics. He retired from active competition in 2021 due to health problems created during his gymnastics career.
Following Wilson in the pre-show betting was former Love Island winner Ekinsu Culculoglu at odds of 7/2 who has proved popular with viewers on her previous show but was eliminated third on the show. Also top of the early betting is former TOWIE star Joey Essex who can be backed at odds of 4/1. He has remained around these odds as the competition continues, joined in third place by former Hollyoaks actress Carley Stenson.
