The third season of the UEFA Nations League is set to begin in June 2022 with the league phase and will run through to March 2024, with France the defending champions.
The draw for the league phase took place at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland on Thursday 17th December 2021.
Perhaps one of the most confusing structures for a tournament ever, the League phase will commence on 2 June 2022 through to 27 September 2022. This will be followed by the finals 14-18 June 2023 and the relegation playouts will take place between 21-26 March 2024.
The 2022/23 edition of the competition will see the Euro 2020 finalists Italy and England meet once again, in Group A3, which also features Germany and Hungary.
The competition will consist of three leagues of 16 teams each and a fourth made up of seven teams, the make-up of these was decided by promotions and relegations from the previous edition of the tournament.

The first stages of the tournament kick-off on the 2nd June 2022 with 2 games a day being played on selected dates, listed below are the home nation fixtures for the first set of games.
