No matter what time of year it is, the football transfer rumour mill is always rife with activity. Read More
Whether it's the newspapers putting out stories to satiate editors with eyeballs, clubs selecting targets to bolster their squads or players and their agents feeding information to generate a more lucrative career move, transfer activity is now synonymous with football whether you like it or not.
If football transfers and all the speculation that come with them is your thing, then you’ve come to the right place!
Here you’ll find the latest odds for the top players to switch clubs, news and update pieces on who your favourite footballers could be playing for in the near future, as well as the select betting sites offering next club markets.
Liverpool Transfer Odds
After summer business which included the signings of Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Wataru Endo and Ryan Gravenberch, further midfield recruits could still be on the cards for Jurgen Klopp.
Douglas Luiz
Although bookmakers favour Aston Villa retaining the services of their maestro, the call of title chasers Liverpool could prove too sweet to ignore. 9/1 is the price currently being offered for The Reds to spend big - which they'd have to do to acquire the Brazilian - but perhaps there is an easy case to be made for splashing the cash on a proven Premier League midfielder while Klopp's summer additions largely bed themselves into the demands of LFC's congested calendar.
Kylian Mbappe
Rumours have been rife surrounding the Frenchman's future, so it feels like just a matter of time before the decision is made in regards to the next stage of his career. Although Real Madrid have been, and still are, the bookie's favourites LFC could be in with a shout of attaining the superstar. The Scousers are positioned out at 20/1 to pull off this enormous coup, which if the speculation is to be believed, could be a real big price to jump on. That being said, this market operates within this current transfer window, meaning that if Kylian Mbappe moves in the summer, these bets will have already settled by window close on 1st February.
Joshua Kimmich
One name to be linked with multiple Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, is Bayern Munich's Joshua Kimmich. Talk began during the summer and the German's profile certainly fits the bill for what Liverpool appear to be in the market for.
Whether there's rumours of an unsettled player, or the attraction of top Premier League clubs convincing him to take on a new challenge, the German could well swap his homeland for England, especially with the prospect of a Premier League title to add to his portfolio.
Man City have been touted the most likely to sign the right-back-turned-defensive-midfielder, but perhaps Liverpool's need for a utility player like this could put them at the forefront of the conversation.
Manchester United Transfer Odds
Erik ten Hag has had to endure a troubled sophomoric season in charge of Manchester United. Summer recruits Andre Onana, Mason Mount and Rasmus Holjund have been unable to make the necessary impacts since joining, leaving MUFC eight points adrift of the Premier League top four.
Financial Fair Play is believed to be a significant burden on Utd's January business, however, a buy-to-sell model isn't out of the question should ten Hag and co desperately require new players this month.
Antoine Griezmann
Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal are all reportedly in the running to secure the signature of Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann. Having netted 17 goals for his club this term, both he and his 5th-placed employers may be reluctant to allow this transfer to happen.
The 32-year-old certainly isn't getting any younger, but while his age may be a deterrent for many clubs, Man United have dabbled in this age range before, parting with large sums of money to purchase individuals who, in their eyes, can help them return to their former glory.
Chelsea Transfer Odds
Armed with a seemingly endless war chest at his disposal, Mauricio Pochettino has so far been unable to resuscitate Chelsea's fortunes despite a well stocked summer transfer window.
The Blues have already seen significant departures in Mason Mount leaving for Man Utd and Kai Havertz joining Arsenal over the summer. They themselves recruited Nicolas Jackson from Villarreal, while Christopher Nkunku joined from RB Leipzig on a lucrative six-year deal. Add to that Moises Caicedo, Axel Disasi, Robert Sanchez and Roméo Lavia and The Blues had appeared to look well equipped to hit the ground running. That hasn't exactly been the case though, with Chelsea just barely sitting inside the league's top 10 places.
Victor Osimhen
One forward consistently linked to a Premier League switch, particularly a move to Chelsea, is Napoli's Victor Osimhen. Interest has been made clear by the club who've proven themselves long admirers of the Nigerian striker and a January manoeuvre could well be the option for the heavily-backed Londoners.
Arsenal, Manchester United, PSG, Barcelona and AC Milan are all priced up in the market to varying degrees, with Arsenal the most likely to acquire his services behind Chelsea and the Italians the furthest out in the betting.
Arsenal Transfer Odds
With the Declan Rice, Jurrien Timber, Kai Havertz and David Raya deals all signed, sealed and delivered, Arsenal and Mikel Arteta had their sights firmly set on staying competitive this season.
They are currently four points from top spot, residing in fourth place now despite a strong start which saw them defeat reigning champions Man City on home soil. The Gunners, therefore, may have to turn to the transfer window to ensure they remain in this season's title picture.
Pedro Neto
Dynamic forward Pedro Neto could be a reasonably priced addition to Arsenal's mounting challenge for that elusive Premier League title which has escaped them for 20 years. Wolves' Portuguese 23-year-old ace is the latest name to catch the attention of the league's elite, lighting up the division with eight goal contributions in 11 appearances this campaign.
Injuries have thwarted his development under Gary O'Neill and perhaps this inactivity will work in the Midlanders' favour in keeping onto their prized possession. Arsenal are quite blessed in this realm of the pitch, but as last season proved, the calendar is ruthless and the more assets you have the better equipped you are to compete.
Tottenham Transfer Odds
For the seventh time since Mauricio Pochettino's exit, Daniel Levy and co rolled the dice on another managerial appointment over the summer, hiring Ange Postecoglou this time.
The Aussie has had his work cut out for him, none more than delivering without star player Harry Kane who was sold to Bayern Munich in August 2023.
His exit, however, hasn't yet left the significant whole being initially purported, with Spurs sitting inside the top five places in England's top division. But without the help of Son Heung-min this month and the threat of injuries ever present, Tottenham may have to dabble into the market to consolidate their position.
Raphinha
Former Premier League winger Raphinha could be a viable option for Postecoglou to maintain strong competition in advanced areas. The versatile former Leeds man provided his side with 17 goals and 12 assists across two seasons in this league before switching England for Spain 18 months ago.
While that move has played out well, his best work still remains in this league. Fans can only imagine the damage he can cause in a more competitive team than one threatened by relegation, and with FCB's looming financial troubles, player sales are never out of the equation.
