Unibet Sign Up Offer Terms & Conditions
It’s key that before taking advantage of any bookmaker’s new customer offer, you familiarise yourself with their terms and conditions. Here are the T&Cs attached to the Unibet offer – we highly recommend taking a read through so you know exactly what you can use your free bets on, how to qualify and how to ensure your free bets don’t expire. It’s worth noting though that there’s no Unibet promo code required to take advantage of the new customer offer; so that’s one less thing to worry about.
Eligibility to receive the bonus:

- You must be based in Great Britain
Claiming the bonus:
- Make sure to Opt in or else you’ll miss out on being able to receive the offer entirely.

- Bets placed at enhanced odds, profit boosts or special boosted odds of any kind will prevent you from being able to claim the welcome offer.
- Cashed out (or voided) bets will not be valid for this promotion. If you use the cash out function on your qualifying bets, the free bets will not be credited to your account, so you’re going to have to let your qualifying bet ride.
Using the Free Bets:
- Only winnings from the free bets will be paid out to you; the stake will not be returned if the bet goes on to win.
- The free bets will appear when adding selections to your bet slip.
- The free bets will be valid to use on pre-match and in-play markets.

- You will need to bet your bonus amount 50 times before you can withdraw it.
- The bonus money must be wagered on casino products before any bonus funds or winnings from the bonus become withdrawable. 100% of the total stake wagered on slot games (except those excluded below) contributes to the 50x wagering requirement. 10% of the total stake wagered on live casino and table games contributes to the 99x wagering requirement.

Do You Require a Promo Code to Claim Your Unibet Sign Up Offer?
The simple answer to this question is no, you don’t. Unibet Existing Customer Promotions and Regular Offers
It’s not just the excellent new customer offer that you can use to your advantage at Unibet. They offer a handful of ongoing promotions and price boosts to their existing customers as well. Here’s a breakdown of just some of those Unibet offers:
Uniboosts
Uniboosts offer punters the chance to earn bigger odds on any bet of your choice, up to three times a day. All you need to do is add your selection to your betslip, enter your stake up to a maximum of £20, hit the Uniboost button in the betslip and place your bet. There are some terms and conditions attached to this offer, but the opportunity to gain regular boosts to the already decent value odds on-site is very impressive. After all, regular bigger payouts on winning bets all add up over time and make a big difference in the long run, so it makes sense to always use your three Uniboosts every day.
Daily Odds Boosts
Before you even add your Uniboosts, you can navigate to the ‘Odds Boosts’ section of the sportsbook to find some boosted odds for that day that have already been offered by Unibet. These are usually multiple bets across different sports and you can find it at the top of the sports list on the left side of the bookmaker. On the day of writing this review, there were multiple odds boosts available for Baseball, Basketball, Football, Golf and Ice Hockey fixtures taking place.
Bet Builder - Uniboost
The third installment of price boosts on offer here at Unibet applies only to Bet Builders and allows you to boost one Bet Builder a day. To be able to boost your Bet Builder, it needs to be at odds of 5.0 4/1 or greater, have a minimum of three selections in it and be for no more than £10. Once you’ve put together a Bet Builder that meets all those requirements, click the Uniboost button in the right corner of the betslip. Just be aware that the Bet Builder needs to be placed with real money, not with a free bet or other form of bonus.
Get Cashback at Unibet
After feedback from customers, Unibet have opted to introduce a cashback feature that allows punters to earn some of their money back if they do not win. With all casino activity, punters are entitled to 10% cashback and with sports, that figure is 5% and that is calculated by your stake, meaning you’ll earn that percentage of your stake back minus winnings and bonuses.
Casino, Poker & Bingo Offers
We’ve taken the time to focus on some of the sports offers here as the majority of our readers are sports punters, but the beauty of Unibet is that they have a really strong casino offering, as well as poker and bingo platforms to go alongside their sports platform.
What’s more, there’s plenty of Unibet offers on these non-sports betting options. At the time of writing, these include a €10,000 Hot Reels lucky spin tournament, a Poker €115,000 prize drop celebrating 10 years of Unibet’s standalone Poker client, and a chance for Bingo players to win a share of the €600 Prize Pool on Money Mansion 2 or Money Cart minigames every Monday.
Best Odds Guaranteed (BOG)
BOG gives you two bites of the cherry at getting the best possible odds on UK and Ireland horse racing bets that go on to win: either the odds at the time you placed the bet on the day of the race, or the SP odds at which the horse went off at. Whichever is bigger, are the odds that you’ll be paid out at.
Refer A Friend Bonus
If you refer a friend to Unibet you get the following:
- 1st friend: £30 of Free Bonus Money
- 2nd friend: £40 of Free Bonus Money
- 3rd friend: £80 of Free Bonus Money

Our Unibet Review
There’s a lot to like about Unibet, and it’s no surprise that they’ve managed to gain such popularity among a large section of online punters as they manage to combine sports betting well with Poker, Bingo and Casino, offering competitive odds, a raft of regular, recurring promotions which are normally Odds Boosts but not only, and one of the better live streaming platforms available.
At a more basic level, it covers all the sports you’d want to bet on, there are plenty of markets on offer for each sport both pre-match and in-play and the odds are pretty decent, meaning you'll get a fair crack of the whip in terms of trying to beat the bookie.
It’s a unique layout that perhaps takes a little bit of getting used to in comparison to the likes of Sky Bet and Bet365 that some punters may be used to, but once you get to grips with the site then the UX is better than most and there’s a depth to the markets that is increasing year on year, particularly when it comes to key football competitions such as the Premier League and Champions League.
The sign-up offer is a generous one too, allowing punters to get their hands on £20 in sports free bets as well as a casino bonus worth £20. Even if casino isn’t quite your thing, you may as well use the casino bonus anyway and see what happens as there’s no downside to it, although the wagering requirements are admittedly pretty steep.
There are a couple of drawbacks, including an occasional delay on withdrawals, but for the most part Unibet have earned their reputation as one of the most popular and exciting online bookmakers for UK customers.
Pros & Cons of using Unibet
Positives
- Competitive odds.
- Excellent sign-up offer.
- Huge choice of sports to bet on.
- Lots of different types of Odds Boosts to claim.
- Great live streaming service.
Negatives
- Customer service support isn’t the best.
- Occasional delays on withdrawals.
- Limited FAQs section.
Unibet Key Sportsbook Features: What Makes Signing Up Worthwhile?
So let’s take a look at those advantages in more detail and consider what makes Unibet worth signing up for an account with.
Competitive odds
One thing that many punters enjoy about using Unibet to place their sports bets is the competitive odds you can find on the site. With an average overround far below the 110% that is generally considered fair, you’re often likely to get better value for your bet at Unibet than you are even at some of the more established high-street bookmakers in the United Kingdom. And unsurprisingly, this is one of the more important factors for both us and the more serious punters out there when it comes to selecting a bookmaker to use for placing online bets.
Strong sign-up offer
The sign-up offer is a pretty solid one, giving you twice (£20) the value of your qualifying bet (£10) in free bets and a further £20 to use in their casino.
It’s an offer that’s easy to claim and allows you to get to know their Bet Builder and Acca products if you’re not familiar with them.
Consistent existing customer offers
And to add to that welcome bonus, you’ll be armed with a host of existing customer offers to use on sports, bingo, poker and casino (more on those in a minute) with your Unibet account for the entire time that you have your account.
At the moment their focus when it comes to sports bonuses seems to be Odds Boosts in different forms, which is fine, while horse racing fans will be glad to know that they also run the valuable Best Odds Guaranteed promo on all horse racing, which can make a big difference to your balance.
Strong bingo, casino and poker platforms
Most online punters nowadays prefer to have all of the different betting services available to them on the same platform and Unibet certainly offer that with a raft of casino, live casino and slots games alongside their own bingo and poker platforms to boot. As previously mentioned, plenty of recurring offers are available across these other non-sport areas of the site too, meaning you can take full advantage of these services by familiarising yourself with the promotions section of the site.
Great live streaming service
One of the real benefits of this bookmaker is the excellent Unibet live streaming platform, which alongside bet365 and Betfair is arguably the best available for UK customers. You can watch and bet on live European football from some of the biggest leagues with a very easy-to-use platform available on both desktop and mobile and there are plenty of other sports available to stream too, including tennis majors, NBA basketball, darts, ice hockey, UFC and more.
Easy to use layout and attractive colour scheme
The green and white Unibet colour scheme evokes sporting memories for many fans but more importantly than that, they play their part in making the Unibet website and app a particularly easy sportsbook to use and attractive to look at to boot. While not as intuitive as some of the more established sportsbooks, once you get used to the Unibet site it’s very easy to navigate despite the huge depth of sports, competitions and price boosts that are available on site.
In-play Betting
Fans of in-play betting won’t be disappointed with the offering here. Just about every event that is available to bet on pre-match is also available in-play meaning there are thousands of different events to bet on every week.
One positive is that they always update their odds pretty quickly after a market suspension, meaning you won’t miss out on any good in-play betting opportunities as a result of that. One quite unique aspect of their in-play offering is in cricket, where you can bet on each delivery in terms of the number of runs that might be scored off it, which is something very few bookies offer.
Sports You Can Bet On at Unibet
Unibet’s depth of sports and markets are among the best available within the UK sports gambling scene. Although the biggest sports such as football, horse-racing and tennis are available as you’d expect, Unibet also offer odds on a host of more obscure sports which include, but aren’t limited to:
- Chess
- Floorball
- Handball
- Lacrosse
- Surfing
- Cricket
- Boxing
- Rugby
- Table Tennis
This is extremely important as not all sports bettors necessarily want to bet on all of the most popular and obvious sports. And not only do some punters wish to bet on a range of different sports but others may only want to bet on more under-the-radar sports, such as bandy, table tennis or surfing. So it’s crucial that all these are available under the same roof, which is certainly the case here at Unibet, where there are over 40 sports to bet on.
In terms of markets per sport, there’s a good range and on most Premier League and Champions League football fixtures you’ll find over 450 markets including stats markets such as shots on target, match and team fouls, cards, corners and specials with plenty of those available for in-play betting.
On the day of writing, we found 28 markets available on specific tennis matches at the Monte Carlo Masters, 238 golf markets for the upcoming Masters, over 400 cricket markets on IPL and County Championship fixtures and odds on horse racing from Brazil, South Africa, the USA and Japan as well as domestic racing.
What Betting Markets are Available at Unibet?
There is certainly no shortage of betting markets within those sports, either. Given no two customers are exactly alike in terms of what they want to bet on, it’s a good thing they cater for all tastes. Here are some of the more popular markets you can bet on at Unibet.
Match Winner/Tournament Winner
Match winner refers to who will win such events as a football, cricket, basketball or tennis match and is probably the most popular market of all as that (the winner) is after all, the most important aspect of any one-off event.
Tournament winner is an outright market and refers to who will win the tournament as a whole, rather than just a single match within it. Good examples of tournament winner markets can be found in tennis, golf, snooker and darts.
Handicap markets
Handicap markets are a great way of levelling the playing field in events where there’s a hot favourite at short odds, though handicap markets can also be used in matches where the odds are closer. It’s up to you to decide whether you want to go with the favourite to overcome the handicap or with the outside to win, draw or stay within the given handicap. Sports where handicap betting is popular include football, rugby, NFL, snooker and tennis.
Bet Builders
Bet Builders are essentially same-game accas, meaning that rather than having two or more selections from different sports or from different events within the same sport, your selections are all from the same match. Not only does Unibet offer Bet Builders for football, as is the case with most betting sites, but they also extend them to the likes of basketball and American Football, which not many bookies do.
Player of the Match
Available in cricket plus a few other selected sports, you’re betting on which of all the players on the pitch will be voted the Player of the Match, or the MVP if you prefer, for putting in the game’s stand-out performance. Because so many players can win it, the odds on all the runners are always pretty high, meaning that you only need to get one of these right now and again to be in profit.
Banking With Unibet
Unibet has a decent array of payment methods and navigating to the cashier section of the site is simple enough. As well as bank transfer, you can use Trustly, Neteller, Apple Pay, Skrill, PaySafe cards and of course Visa or MasterCard to deposit or withdraw from your account.
For ease of use as a new customer we recommend using your debit card when signing up to Unibet. We used this to make our first deposit and it was a painless process, with our card details then saved for future reference too. The other reason why we advise you to use a debit card first up is that it's the only deposit payment method that allows you to claim the welcome offer that we’ve already discussed.
Unibet Deposit Methods
There’s a varied choice of methods when it comes to getting your money into your account and all methods are instant and free of any fees. As you can see below, the maximum amount you can deposit with Paysafecard is significantly lower than for other methods, so that’s something to bear in mind.
Deposit Method | Fee | Processing Time | Limits |
---|---|---|---|
Debit Card / Visa / Mastercard | Free | Instant | Min £5 / Max £10,000 |
PaySafe Card | Free | Instant | Min £10 / Max £500 |
Skrill | Free | Instant | Min £5 Max £10,000 |
Neteller | Free | Instant | Min £5 / Max £10,000 |
Bank Transfer | Free | Instant | N/A |
Trustly | Free | Instant | Min £10 / Max £1000 |
Apple Pay | Free | Instant | Min £5 / Max £10,000 |
Unibet Withdrawal Methods
Below is the list of withdrawal methods available to you at Unibet. If you’re in a hurry to get your money out, we advise you to withdraw to an e-wallet rather than a debit card as the former are significantly quicker when it comes to processing your withdrawal.
Withdrawal Method | Fee | Processing Time | Limits |
---|---|---|---|
Debit Card / Visa / Mastercard | Free | Up to 3 Working Days | Min £10 / Max £100,000 |
Direct Banking | Free | Up to 1 Banking Day | Min £15 / Max = Max Withdrawal £100,000 |

Trustly | Free | Up to 24 Hours | Min £5 / Max £50,000 |
Apple Pay | Free | Within a few hours | N/A |
Does Unibet have a Mobile App?
Yes, Unibet have a mobile app that is available on both Apple and Android devices. Given that disgruntled punters often leave negative reviews on betting app reviews, the fact that the Apple app has an average customer review rating of 4.2 speaks to the quality of the app. From our own experience we found it to be very easy to use, with quick access to key aspects of the normal desktop or mobile browser service, as well as all of the aforementioned live streaming qualities that are available on-site. Here are some of the things that app users had to say about the app within their reviews:
“If you want a good sport betting site with good odds and quick pay outs Unibet is the site and has vastly improved over the years. I’ve never had an issue with payouts, which are always in my account within 30 minutes of withdrawing.”
“I follow some foreign leagues and I’m happy with the markets on offer and also being able to stream live La Liga games and some tennis matches is great. I’m less into tennis, but it’s still free live sport!
“Great layout, has all the sports I bet on and it's really easy to follow while the sports are live.”
Another advantage to using the app other than the obvious- that you can access Unibet wherever you are- is that you can also receive notifications via the app about promos or other important communications from Unibet.
Responsible Gambling Features
An often overlooked aspect of betting but one of the most important ones. Responsible Gambling is vital in making sure that you, the customer, keep betting fun rather than letting things get out of control from a financial and emotional perspective, which can lead to serious long-term problems.
Unibet takes Responsible Gambling - or Safer Gambling as they call it - seriously with a dedicated page to it offering advice and tools that help you stay in control. These include:
- A player profile Test so you can understand what sort of gambler you are.
- Deposit limits.
- Product block allowing you to self-exclude from one of the products on offer eg. casino, that you tend to play too much of, or have a poor record at playing.
- Time Out for a short period of time.
- Self-exclusion for a much longer period of time.
- Block any transactions to gambling sites so you won't be able to deposit at them.
- Links to charities and other organisations that help with problem gambling.
Is Unibet a Trustworthy and Safe Brand?
Unibet has gained popularity in recent years for their enticing new and existing players offers, Unibet live streaming services and competitive football odds. However, no brand can gain that kind of reputation without offering a degree of trust and security for punters. Plus, we’ll never feature a bookmaker within these pages that we don’t trust and isn’t operating by the UK Gambling Commission.
The proof is in the pudding. Unibet has managed to stay away from bad PR stories and serious customer complaints over the years, further evidence that it’s a reputable betting site that can be trusted.

Unibet Customer Service
Unibet’s customer service options are varied, but one criticism that is levelled at them by some punters is the slowness of replies and the difficulty to locate the customer service options within the website and app. However, from personal experience we’ve had no issues in finding a solution to our problems via the live chat and phone options, although we have not used the email option to contact them as yet. What they might consider doing however is improving their FAQs section as it’s quite limited at the moment, compared to other bookies. FAQs help customers have their queries answered without having to resort to contacting Customer Service, so it’s in everyone’s interest that they cover most bases.

Our Experience Using Unibet
I’ve found the experience of betting with Unibet so far to be a relatively trouble-free one and I’ve been impressed by certain areas of the site - in particular the live streaming options. To have so many different sports, including some of the biggest football leagues and tennis tournaments, available to watch and bet on live is definitely a big plus point in comparison to many of Unibet’s competitors who aren’t able to offer a service as comprehensive as theirs.
As a football punter first and foremost, I’ve been impressed by the depth of markets, although it would be nice to see some more player stat markets such as passes, assists and tackles added to their arsenal at some point in the near future. The depth of sports is impressive though and there were some sports and games available within the sportsbook that I had very rarely seen before with any other bookmakers, as listed above in this review.
Odds wise, Unibet are certainly competitive and their prices can on the whole be compared favourably to the likes of high-street bookmakers like William Hill and Betfred with a fair overround on most sporting events. Some find the site a little clunky to navigate, but personally I didn’t find this a problem once I had familiarised myself with what was required.
Payment options are varied and were quickly processed both for deposits and withdrawals so that’s another box ticked. As is the fact they have a good blog, mostly made up of football and horseracing content, with some interesting and insightful betting previews, analysis and tips.
All that said, there’s always some room for improvement. It’s great that they have Best Odds Guaranteed for horse racing but beyond that, most of their promos revolve around Odds Boosts. So as good as those are, it would be nice to see a bit more variety. Such as Acca insurance, free bets, and moneyback offers, at least for some of the major sports. As mentioned already, they could also have more content in their FAQs section so customers can solve their queries that way.
But those are somewhat minor issues that are relatively easy to fix and at the moment Unibet are right up there with one of the best all-round products for sports betting fans.
