Where will the 2025 European Championship be held?
So far there have been four applications that have been formally submitted to host the tournament in 2025, they are Poland, France, Switzerland & Liechtenstein (combined), and another combined effort from the Nordic nations of Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden. Ukraine had intentions to apply but the ongoing conflict with Russia has threatened to derail this. Countries have until October 2022 to put their bids in with the decision being announced in December 2022.
Who has won the Euros the most times?
Now in its 13th edition, Germany lead the way with a whopping eight Euro triumphs, Norway have twice won the tournament, while Sweden and Netherlands have each lifted the trophy once. Netherlands are the defending champions, having won on home soil last time out in 2017.
