England vs. USA Bet Builder Tips: Stones to rack up the passes on Friday

England take on the USA on Friday night and we’ve provided you with our best Bet Builder tips for the World Cup game in Qatar.
Gareth Southgate confirmed on Thursday that Harry Kane will be fit for England’s second group game of the tournament after undergoing a scan this week. Harry Maguire also came off in the second-half of the game against Iran on Monday feeling unwell but explained that it was just a precaution.
An unchanged England line-up would not be a surprise in this game, however it will most likely come too soon for both Kyle Walker and James Maddison who are both back in light training. England can be backed at 11/20 to get the three points, while the draw is on show at 10/3 and a win for the USA at 9/2.
England vs USA Bet Builder Tips
We are kicking off our Bet Builder selections on Friday with Jude Bellingham to have a shot on target. The 19-year-old became the first ever person born this millennium to score at a World Cup when he found the net with a top class header against Iran on Monday.
Bellingham has massively improved his attacking output for Borussia Dortmund this season, scoring four goals in just five Champions League group matches. In the Bundesliga he has scored on three occasions this term, but looking at his shots on target data, he has recorded 1+ between the sticks in 19 of his 25 appearances for club and country since the start of the season!
Sticking with the shots on target market and we are siding with Harry Maguire to also hit the target once or more in the game. Available at 11/5 as a single with Paddy Power, which looks to be the best price across the board at the time of writing, Maguire can often be a major threat for The Three Lions in the opposition penalty area. At the Euros last summer Maguire registered four shots on target in five matches for England and we are backing him to do so once again here.
Rounding off this 17/2 Bet Builder is John Stones to attempt 70+ passes in the game. Against Iran, Stones made 117 passes and although we do not expect that figure to be as high against Friday’s opposition, we still think the 70 is very manageable. At club level, Stones averaged 78.5 passes per 90 minutes last season and in England’s World Cup qualifying campaign that figure was 81.9 passes per 90. Both England and John Stones should see plenty of the ball against the USA with 70+ passes the line we are opting for here.
