Blackburn Rovers are set to start the search for a new manager following the news that Martin O'Neil, who replaced Valerien Ismael in February 2026, will leave the club when his contract expires this summer.
Rovers famously hoisted the Premier League trophy back in 1994/95 under manager Kenny Dalglish, with a team consisting of the likes of Alan Shearer, Tim Sherwood, Chris Sutton, and Colin Hendry. A mixed set of recent results has seen Blackburn Rovers collect wins versus Millwall, Birmingham City, Sheffield United while suffering adverse results at Oxford United, Southampton, Leicester City. Draws against Middlesbrough, West Bromwich Albion, Stoke City, Coventry City has seen them show mid-table form at best.
