US Open 2025 Betting Tips: Today's Predictions, Tee Times & How To Watch

The US Open explodes into action today at the brutal Oakmont Country Club.
PGA Championship victor Scottie Scheffler heads to Pennsylvania as the betting favourite to scoop his fourth major, ahead of defending champion Bryson DeChambeau, Jon Rahm, and Grand Slam winner Rory McIlroy.
Read on for our three best betting tips and predictions, the first round tee times, and how to watch the third major of the year.
US Open 2025 Betting Tips & Predictions
Xander Schauffele Under the Radar
Xander Schauffele enters the 2025 US Open as one of the most consistent performers in major championship golf, having registered 12 top-20 major finishes in his last 13 appearances.
The American's stunning 2024 campaign, which saw him capture both the PGA Championship and The Open, demonstrated his ability to deliver when it matters most on golf's biggest stages. He followed this up with a T8 finish at the Masters earlier this year, but while the defence of his PGA Championship didn't quite go to plan (T28), he looks a decent price at 22/1 to bounce back in style at Oakmont this week, given his US Open pedigree.
In eight previous US Open appearances, he has never once finished outside of the top-15. More impressively, seven of those finishes have come in the top-10, with three reaching the top-5
He's not so much knocking on the US Open door but hammering it down. With much of the pre-tournament chatter pinned on Scheffler, DeChambeau, and McIlroy, it's the dark horse Schauffele who could go somewhat under the radar here as he bids to scoop his third major in his last six appearances.
Back Harris English at Big Odds
Harris English arrives at Oakmont with a US Open record that suggests he's perfectly suited to America's toughest test, having recorded impressive finishes of 3, 4, and T8 in three of his last five appearances.
The American's hunger for major championship success has never been more evident after his runner-up finish to Scottie Scheffler at last month's PGA Championship. That near-miss, combined with his solid T12 showing at the Masters earlier this year, shows that the 2025 Farmers Insurance Open winner is heading in the right direction as he looks to ramp up his search for a maiden major.
English, who warmed up to the US Open with at T12 at the Memoria, has been handed big odds of 66/1 to build on his current form and impressive US Open performances this week.
Jon Rahm to be Crowned Top European
Jon Rahm heads into the US Open with encouraging signs of major form, having posted a T14 at the Masters and T8 at the PGA Championship, as well as T7 at last year's Open.
The Spaniard already boasts a strong track record at this event: he won in 2021, finished third in 2019, and added solid T12 and T20 finishes in his last two appearances. His performances on the LIV Tour this season also hint at consistency, even if he hasn't been in the spotlight as much.
Rahm will welcome the chance to go head-to-head with the likes of Scheffler, DeChambeau, and McIlroy, and while I'm stopping short of backing him for the outright win, he looks a serious contender to finish as the top European at 4/1 in the betting.
