PGA Championship Betting Tips 2025: 75/1 Prediction, Odds, Tee Times & How To Watch

The PGA Championship tees off today at the iconic Quail Hollow in North Carolina, promising four days of enthralling action.
Golf fans are in for a treat as the newly crowned Masters champion Rory McIlroy - a two-time winner of the PGA Championship - will play alongside World No.1 Scottie Scheffler and reigning PGA champion Xander Schauffele in the opening two rounds.
All three stars have their eyes firmly on the Wanamaker Trophy, with McIlroy and Scheffler priced at just 5/1 with betting sites.
But with such a stacked high-quality field, there’s value to be found further down the market. Below, I’ve highlighted three contenders to watch at 16/1, 33/1, and 75/1...
PGA Championship Betting Tips 2025
Justin Thomas @ 16/1
Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler fully justify their respective spots at the top of the betting market, but at 5/1 apiece, there isn't much value to be had here, which opens the door to other contenders.
Step forward Justin Thomas - a two-time PGA Championship winner, having lifted the trophy in 2022 and back in 2017 when the major was last staged at Quail Hollow. The American finished 8th in last year’s edition and returns to familiar territory in red-hot form, fresh off a win at the RBC Heritage and a runner-up finish at last week's Truist Championship.
Thomas has also secured second-place finishes at both the American Express and Valspar Championship in 2025, marking a remarkable return to form. Given his proven major pedigree and strong record at this venue - where he also inspired the US to Presidents Cup glory in 2022 with 4 points - he looks an appealing pick at 16/1 with Paddy Power, who are paying 10 places.
Tommy Fleetwood @ 33/1
Despite eight career top-10 finishes in majors - seven of them inside the top five - Fleetwood is still searching for his breakthrough. He’s come agonisingly close, most notably with a runner-up finish at the US Open.
Priced at 33/1, the Englishman arrives in fine form. He finished T4 at last week's Truist Championship, just four strokes behind winner Sepp Straka, following a 7th-place finish at the RBC Heritage and a solid T21 at the Masters.
Fleetwood’s game is on an upwards trajectory and, with momentum on his side, his long-awaited major win may finally be within reach. Why not now?
Jason Day @ 75/1
For my outsider pick, I’m going with Jason Day at 75/1 with bet365 (1/5 odds, 8 places).
The Aussie, who will play in an exciting group alongside Tommy Fleetwood and Phil Mickelson, brings a wealth of major experience, with 18 top-10 finishes, including 11 inside the top 5, and of course, his 2015 PGA Championship victory.
He finished T8 at the Masters last month and returns to a venue where he’s thrived in the past: he placed inside the top 10 at Quail Hollow during the 2017 PGA Championship, before going on to win the Wells Fargo Championship there the following year, and finished T4 at the same tournament in 2024.
