Uruguay vs Namibia Betting Tips: Predictions as winless Pool A sides clash

It may not be a clash of two rugby union heavyweights as Uruguay and Namibia collide in Pool A of the Rugby World Cup, but it could still be a gripping game as two of the pointless sides so far go in search of their first success at the tournament. Uruguay have acquitted themselves well, particularly when pushing France close two weeks ago, and are heavy favourites to beat Namibia who have been thoroughly battered in their games so far.
Billy Grimshaw hit a full house in his Scotland vs Tonga preview to conclude last week's games and is on hand to preview the first game of this matchweek for us with two tips worth consideration...
Uruguay vs Namibia Tips
The Welwitschias of Namibia have racked up a meagre 11 points while conceding 219 so far this World Cup, and unfortunately I think their final game at this tournament will see more pain inflicted on their outclassed side. Uruguay have two games left including this one and they will be hoping to wrap up their marvellously encouraging campaign so far with some points on the Pool A board. A bonus point win looks easily within their grasp and I'm more than happy to get with them on the handicap line of 17 available with BoyleSports.
Many (including this dopey tipster) fancied host nation France to blitz away the Uruguayans despite the host nation making 14 changes to their starting 15 for the clash with the South Americans. Admittedly they did not quite pull off the upset, but the fact Uruguay stuck with France and were in the game for so long is a massive positive and losing only 27-12 to France in their own backyard in a home World Cup was in my eyes a breakout performance. Undoubtedly the second best South American team after Los Pumas, they can make strides again and be a legitimate threat by the next World Cup.
Namibia rotated their squad against France last time out in preparation for this but are simply not at the level of the Uruguayans, who were of course beaten by Namibia at the last World Cup. Revenge will be on their minds and I think with the drive to make a statement the South American side can cover the handicap line with ease to stamp themselves as levels above minnows moving forward at RWCs.
Wrapping up tipping duties here I think the folks at SpreadEx are vastly underestimating the chances of Uruguay taking Namibia to the cleaners here and pricing their top try scorer so far at the tournament wing man Nicolas Freitas at 6/4 for a try when most other firms have him odds on. If Los Teros do put in another fine display to blow away the Africans, I don't see anyone on the field more likely than Freitas to grab a five pointer.
His record at international level is nothing special but a try in both games so far, first against France and then Italy in Uruguay's second loss of the tournament, proves Los Teros look for him as a scoring outlet on the wing. He has plied plenty of his trade as a centre but on the wing he is a handful for any defence and seems to have a nose for the try line.
This is purely a value play with other firms pricing the wingman up so much shorter to score, and for those who like a bigger priced punt for smaller stakes I will be utilising SpreadEx's same game multi feature to throw in Freitas, hooker German Kessler and fellow winger Bautista Basso in a treble all to score a try at odds of 22/1.
