Premier League Sack Race 2025/26 Odds: The Favourites
We've run through the top contenders in the running to become the ninth exit of the season, according to the latest odds - see the full market in the odds table above.
Liam Rosenior (Chelsea): 5/2
After a bright start to life at Chelsea, Liam Rosenior is now feeling the heat following a run of four straight defeats in all competitions.
His Blues side were battered 8-2 on aggregate by PSG in the Champions League and have lost their last two league games to nil, which has hampered their hopes of returning to Europe's prized competition next season.
As a result, the next Chelsea manager market has reopened, featuring Felipe Luis, Oliver Glasner, and Xavi.
Oliver Glasner (Crystal Palace): 5/2
Oliver Glasner is the joint favourite alongside Rosenior at 5/2.
Crystal Palace are navigating a spell of uncertainty, with several key players facing unclear futures and Glasner himself set to depart at the end of the season.
However, they have been much improved on the pitch in recent weeks, losing just once in their last eight games in all competitions, as they target a deep run in the Conference League - where they've reached the quarter-finals - and a top-10 league finish.
As for the next Crystal Palace manager odds, Robbie Keane remains the favourite, ahead of Thomas Frank and Sean Dyche.
Arne Slot (Liverpool): 11/4
Liverpool boss Arne Slot has seen his odds sliced to 11/4 in the betting to become the ninth top-flight manager to depart this season.
A 50/1 outsider earlier this month, Slot has come under increased pressure following Liverpool's stuttering run of results, which includes a shock loss to Wolves, draw at home to Tottenham, and most recently a defeat on the south coast to Brighton.
Eddie Howe (Newcastle): 3/1
Eddie Howe has been the big mover in the market in the last few days, during which his odds have been slashed from 16/1 to the 3/1 fourth favourite.
Newcastle’s season is in real danger of falling apart following a heavy 8-3 aggregate defeat to Barcelona in the champions League, during which they completely imploded in the second-half of the second-leg in Spain.
This was followed by a last-gasp derby defeat at home to rivals Sunderland, a result which leaves the Toon 12th in the table.
Scott Parker (Burnley): 9/2
Scott Parker, 9/2, was the unfortunate “winner” of the Premier League Sack Race in 2022/23 after being dismissed by Bournemouth in the wake of their 9-0 hammering at Anfield.
Only Wolves have picked up fewer points than the Clarets, who are 19th in the table and 10 points adrift of safety with seven games to go.
Parker’s side have struggled for victories throughout the campaign, managing just four so far, with just one coming from their last 22 games.
