World champion Max Verstappen has won two of the last three races around the tight confines of the slowest track in the F1 schedule and would love another success as the chasing pack continue to close in.
The Red Bull driver is available at a much more attractive price than he was for the early races this season, with McLaren and Ferrari both bidding to take the fight to the championship leader again.
Monaco GP Tips
Lando Norris Top-2 Finish
McLaren's Lando Norris has emerged as the chief challenger to Max Verstappen this season even though he is still only fourth in the championship standings.
Norris achieved his first career win at the 110th attempt at the Miami Grand Prix two races ago and was within a second of catching Verstappen when runner-up to the Red Bull star in the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix at Imola last week.
Having also finished second to the Dutch driver in China, albeit 13 seconds behind that time after starting fourth on the grid, Norris has put together three successive top-two finishes in the improved McLaren and is worth backing at odds-against to keep that run going even if he doesn't secure his second win.
Norris was third in Monaco in 2021 and the British team are taking a special high-downforce package to the race this year to boost the chances of their rising star and his Australia team-mate Oscar Piastri.
Verstappen is not likely to suffer the same issues with the hard-compound tyre that enabled Norris to almost catch him at Imola and remains the man to beat, but Norris should be capable of providing some strong competition again.
Carlos Sainz Each-Way (three places)
While Ferrari's Charles Leclerc would dearly love to win his home race in Monte Carlo for the first time, Carlos Sainz Jr. is the only driver to have stood on the top step of the podium for the team this season when winning in Australia.
The Spaniard has been extremely consistent at Monaco, finishing in the points in all eight of his races there for four different teams.
That includes runner-up finishes in 2021 and 2022 and he looks worth an each-way bet at 16/1 with bet365, who are offering three each-way places.
Sainz had three podium finishes in the first three races he took part in this season, having missed the Saudi Arabian event due to having an appendectomy, and has yet to finish worse than fifth in six starts.
A winner on a street circuit at Singapore last season, Sainz should be capable of getting in the mix at the front of the field.
Lewis Hamilton Top-6 Fiinish
Lewis Hamilton has not always appeared to be enjoying his final season with Mercedes, as the German team have continued to struggle, but he should come alive around the streets of Monaco, where he has won three times.
The seven-time world champion has a chance to make more of a difference with his skills and bravery at this track than many others and should at least be targeting a top-six finish this weekend.
It may require some misfortune to strike the drivers of the top three teams of Red Bull, Ferrari and McLaren, but that's always possible in Monaco. Hamilton has been able to reach the top six at each of the last two races and should be in the hunt for a decent points haul again.
Hamilton has been ahead of team-mate George Russell in the last two rounds, having taken a back seat to his younger colleague in the opening five events, and the team are making some progress with the troublesome balance of their car.
