Netherlands To Win Euro 2024 Odds

The Netherlands are now priced at 5/1 to win Euro 2024, as they look to emulate the class of 1988 and be crowned European champions for the second time in their history. 

The Dutch had a mixed group stage but bounced back with a confidence-boosting 3-0 win over Romania in the last-16, then beat Turkey 2-1 in the quarter-finals.

The Liverpool winger scored twice in the group stages and added a third against Romania, meaning he's now the joint frontrunner at the top of the standings.

Netherlands Euro 2024 Route to the Final

The Netherlands finished third in Group D which set up a last-16 clash with Romania, who they went on to beat 3-0. 

Quarter-final opponents Turkey took a first-half lead through Samet Akaydin, but the Netherlands dug deep to score two second-half goals to claim the win and set-up a semi-final against England.

Either Spain or France will then be waiting in the Final.

Netherlands Euro 2024 Head Coach

Experienced boss Ronald Koeman has been in charge of the Netherlands since January 2023 and this is his second spell as Dutch boss after also leading the Oranje for two-and-a-half-years between February 2018 and August 2020.

During his first spell in the post he guided the Netherlands to a runners-up finish in the 2019 Nations League before then overseeing a successful qualification campaign for Euro 2020.

The 61-year-old has managed several of Europe’s top clubs, including Ajax, Benfica, PSV Eindhoven and Barcelona. Koeman usually sets his team up in either a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 formation and is seen to rely on a more defensive-minded approach, with an emphasis on discipline and good organisation rather than favouring the flair and attacking set-up readily associated with the famous Dutch sides of previous years.
