Strictly Come Dancing Week 4 Tips: Jody Cundy favourite to be the next eliminated

Another weekend of glitz, glamour, and nerve-shredding drama awaits us in Strictly Come Dancing.
Guy Evans has so far successfully tipped the departures of Les Dennis and Nikita Kanda, now he returns with a Week 3 recap, a refreshed look at the outright winner odds, plus his pick to be eliminated in Week 4.

Strictly Come Dancing Week 3 Elimination Recap
Sunday night’s results show brought the curtain down on radio presenter Nikita Kanda and her partner Gorka Marquez.
Their jive scored 21 points from the judges on Saturday night, and they lost out in the dance-off to Zara McDermott.
Nikita might count herself a little unlucky not to be up against Jody Cundy in the dance-off.
The Paralympian struggled in training last week and was left with only one day to prepare for Saturday’s show, finishing bottom of the leaderboard with 20 points.
The public’s voting sympathies probably saved Jody at Nikita’s expense.

Meanwhile, Angela Scanlon announced herself in the series with a Charleston that scored a table-topping 35 points.
Bookmakers have had her down as one of the favourites to win since the beginning of the show, but her performance on Saturday is the first time she’s really justified that excitement.
Likewise, Eddie Kadi also showed us what he’s capable of on the dancefloor. His couples’ choice routine to Men in Black with partner Karen Hauer scored 34 points, including the series’ first 10 from head judge Shirley Ballas.
I’d say Shirley was a little overexcited there – the other three judges all gave the dance an eight – but it was still a classy performance. Best-price odds on Eddie to win can be found at bet365, who are offering an incredible 80/1 on the comedian to lift the Glitterball Trophy.
There were scores of 30+ points for Ellie Leach, Bobby Brazier, Amanda Abbington, Annabel Croft and Krishnan Guru-Murthy, who also impressed with a Charleston routine from the musical Cabaret. If he continues to improve, the Channel 4 newsreader might just be worth an outside each way punt at 125/1 to win.
Odds on Layton Williams to win have shifted back up to 12/1 at bet365, William Hill and Boylesports. The judges hold him to a higher standard than the other contestants but only because he’s so exceptional. The West End star needs to learn to let his partner Nikita lead, and if he listens to the judges comments, he’ll sail through to the final.
Despite finishing 11th on the leaderboard with a score of 25, Nigel Harman remains the bookies’ favourite to win at 5/2.
Strictly Come Dancing Week 4 Elimination Odds
Looking ahead to this week’s show, I’m siding with the bookies’ tip for Jody Cundy to be the next eliminated – Boylesports are offering a best price of 6/5.
I’d also keep an eye on actor Adam Thomas. He spent time in hospital this week which has interrupted his preparation, and I’m not sure he’s endeared himself yet to the voting public. bet365 have a best price of 15/2 on him to leave the show.
