Scotland vs England Prediction and Betting Tips: Scots can raise Calcutta Cup once again
Having survived a fallow weekend, the 2024 Six Nations returns on Saturday with a bang, on a day that sees Scotland and England renew the oldest rivalry in international rugby.
Scotland will be raring to go after their heartbreaking 20-16 defeat at the hands of France last time out, in a game in which a last-gasp TMO decision denied the Scots a victory at Murrayfield.
England head to Edinburgh on the back of wins against Italy in Rome and Wales at Twickenham but face their biggest test of the 2024 Six Nations so far this weekend.

Scotland have been boosted by the return of Toulouse full-back Blair Kinghorn, after the former Edinburgh star missed the opening two rounds due to injury.
Kyle Steyn returns to the wing after missing the clash with France following the birth of his child and replaces Kyle Rowe.
Gregor Townsend has also recalled former skipper Jamie Ritchie, in a back-row that also includes co-captain Rory Darge and Jack Dempsey.
As for England, Borthwick has made five changes from the side that beat Wales 16-14 last time out, with Ollie Lawrence, George Furbank and Danny Care coming into the backline.
The two changes in the forwards see Ellis Genge and Dan Cole return to the front-row.

Scotland vs England Tips
After years of dominance in this fixture, England have struggled against the Scots in recent meetings.
Winning just one of their last six Calcutta Cup clashes, Steve Borthwick’s side head north of the border as underdogs for this one.
Borthwick’s reign as England head coach began with a 29-23 defeat to the Scots at Twickenham and it will be interesting to see what progress the Red Rose have made in the last 12 months.
A Scotland win by a 1-7 point margin would have landed in the last three encounters between these rivals and the trend might well continue in Edinburgh this weekend.
Scoring three tries in the last three Calcutta Cup games, Scotland winger Duhan van der Merwe has been a real thorn in England’s side over recent years.
The Edinburgh flyer has already opened his account in this year’s Six Nations with a brace of tries against the Welsh in Cardiff.
With his strength and pace in the wide channels, and his ability to pop up in midfield, Van der Merwe will be looking to be busier than he was against France last time out.
Given his record in this fixture, Van der Merwe is certainly worth considering in the anytime tryscorer market.
