England vs Scotland Prediction, Odds and Lineups: Two best bets for Saturday Six Nations clash

England face Scotland in the Calcutta Cup on Saturday, with both teams at a crossroads in their Six Nations campaigns.
The Red Rose responded to their opening defeat in Ireland with a one-point victory over France and next aim to beat the Scots for the first time since 2020.
Meanwhile, Scotland began their campaign with an unconvincing win against Italy and were then outclassed by Ireland.
Gregor Townsend's side have had the edge over the Auld Enemy in recent years but, despite winning eight of their last 10 Test matches, there seems to be a negative energy around the camp.
A similar vibe has followed England around and the visitors may go closer than their 12/5 odds suggest.
England vs Scotland Predictions
England are just 27/100 to beat Scotland for the first time in five years but the pressure is on Steve Borthwick and his players to back up their victory over France.
They failed to do that after last year's win over Ireland but Scotland's lack of rhythm, ongoing uncertainty over Townsend's future and injury issues makes them vulnerable.
However, these fixtures are usually tight. Since Scotland came from 31-0 down to draw 38-38 at Twickenham in 2019, nine or fewer points have separated the subsequent five fixtures.
England will be buoyed by beating Les Bleus but there might be some residual nerves due to their previous inability to put results together.
A fourth Six Nations home win on the spin beckons, but it might be another tight affair.

Recalled to the squad against France, Elliot Daly was the hero as he latched onto Fin Smith's deft pass to run in for the winning try.
The 32-year-old has featured across the back-line for both his country and first Wasps and then Saracens, as well as the British & Irish Lions and Borthwick clearly likes him as a utility option.
Daly has again been named on the bench for Saturday, but as he showed against France, his ability to read his team's playmakers and exploit gaps in the opposition's tiring defence always makes him dangerous.
The 71-cap star has never scored a try against Scotland but the intuitive nature in which he ran onto Smith's offload just moments after coming on means he is sure to get chances, even if he only comes on for the final few moments.

England vs Scotland Lineups
England
England have named their team for Saturday's match, with the only change coming in the second row, where Ollie Chessum replaces Leicester colleague George Martin.
That means Fin Smith remains at fly-half, with namesake Marcus outside him at full-back.
Scotland
Wing Ross McCann, scrum-half Ali Price and centre Cameron Redpath have been called into the Scotland squad.
The latter two could be in contention for a place in the matchday 23, having each played in previous Calcutta Cup victories.
Wing Darcy Graham and fly-half Finn Russell have come through the concussion protocols and could return to training in time to feature on Saturday.
