Wham! - 3/10
Wham! are currently leading the betting at 3/10 with bet365.
Wham! have been number one in the charts on multiple occasions with Last Christmas but will now be hoping to at long last get that elusive Christmas Number One.
Sam Ryder - 8/1
Sam Ryder has burst into the betting at 8/1 with You're Christmas To Me.
His song is now bang in the mix for top spot and could prove to be the closest challenger to Wham!.
The Pogues - 12/1
With the tragic news of lead singer Shane MacGowen passing away, bookmakers recently slashed the odds for The Pogues to win the coveted Christmas Number One spot.
Their iconic song "Fairytale of New York" has become a Christmas-time staple, but while they were previously as short as 1/5, they are now priced at 12/1 behind Wham and Sam Ryder.
There truly would be no better time for The Pogues to win this award and it's an award they well and truly deserve.
Creator Universe - 33/1
Earlier this month, Creator Universe became the new outright favourites in the betting, however, their odds have now lengthened all the way out to 33/1.
The TikTok collective, featuring 30 influencers, have recorded their own rendition of Wizzard's famous 1973 hit 'I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday' with all profits going to The Trussell Trust.
Mariah Carey - 66/1
Love it or hate it, All I Want For Christmas Is You is an absolute monster hit. The song has 1,551,523,955 plays on Spotify at the time of writing this. It's played multiple times across a bunch of radio stations during the holidays and you will no doubt be hearing it multiple times a day if you leave the radio playing.
This is the only song in history to have four separate runs at Christmas Number One since its release in 1994. If you're after a stonking price in this market then you can find 66/1 on Mariah reaching top spot.
