Europa League Winner Betting
The Europa League is known for its unpredictability and fierce competition, though Spanish clubs have had a strong grip on the trophy in recent years.
La Liga sides have lifted the title 12 times in the past 23 seasons, with Sevilla leading the charge thanks to their remarkable seven tournament wins.
In 2024/25, Tottenham became the first English side to win since Chelsea in 2018/19, narrowly beating Manchester United 1-0 in an all-Premier League final. Aston Villa then made sure that the trophy stayed in England by winning the 2025/26 Europa League.
The Europa League Winner Betting for 2026/27 will be available shortly.
Europa League Top Goalscorer Odds
The Europa League Top Goalscorer market is one of the most popular outright betting options each season, with punters backing the player they believe will finish as the competition's leading scorer.
Attackers from the tournament's strongest teams are typically among the favourites, as progressing deeper into the knockout rounds provides more opportunities to add to their goal tally.

The Europa League Explained
The UEFA Europa League is Europe’s second-tier international club competition, ranking below the Champions League but above the Conference League. The competition existed as the UEFA Cup from 1971 to 2009 before rebranding to the Europa League.
Sevilla are by far the most successful Europa League club in history, winning the competition seven times, including five since 2013. Inter Milan, Tottenham, Liverpool, Atletico Madrid, and Juventus have each won the Europa League three times.
36 teams qualify for the group stage in one league table, which has replaced the group format. Each team plays eight matches - four at home and four away - with the top-8 ranked sides progressing through to the knockout stages. Those teams placed between 9th and 24th will enter a play-off round, while teams finishing 25th and below are eliminated.
The competition then enters into the last-16 - and so on - with knockout games played over two legs, home and away; the scores are aggregated over the two games. Teams no longer drop down from the Champions League.
Europa League Betting Markets
You’ll find odds on many different Europa League markets at all of our trusted betting sites. Our comparison guide makes it easy for you to find the best prices according to the market you’d like to wager on. But if you’re looking for some ideas, here are the most popular Europa League betting markets.
- Outright Winner — Pick the team to win the Europa League in this market.
- To Qualify — Pick which teams you think will qualify for the next round in this market.
- Match Result — You can back the home team, the away team, or a draw on any Europa League match.
- Correct Score — For longer Europa League odds, you can make a prediction on the precise score at the end of the match.
- Both Teams to Score — Europa League games are often full of goals, which makes the ‘both teams to score’ market a good option.
- Goalscorer Markets — Have your say on the game’s first goalscorer, its next goalscorer, or a player to score at any time.
- Over/Under — Stats such as goals, corners and cards are popular denominations of the over/under betting market. The bookmaker will offer a total number on these stats, and it’s the bettor’s job to predict whether the actual number will be over or under this.
- Player Props — If you prefer, your betslip can target players’ individual stats within the game as opposed to the game itself. Goals, assists, passes, tackles and cards are some of the options in this market.
- Accumulators — Accumulators, or accas, consist of multiple selections under one betslip. Every selection must be correct for the overall acca to win, which can generate some large Europa League odds. Picking the eight group winners is always an interesting accumulator bet.
If you’re looking to explore specific odds on Europa League markets, use our comparison guides for a comprehensive analysis of all the leading bookmakers’ prices. The overall winner and the competition’s top goalscorer are two outright markets that we cover in a little more depth below.
Responsible Gambling
No matter what you’re betting on, it’s important to do so responsibly. We have an extensive responsible gambling page, but here are three crucial tips that will help protect you from gambling’s inherent harms.
- Never gamble under the influence of drugs and alcohol
Drugs and alcohol severely affect our ability to make sensible decisions, so give yourself the best chance by only betting when of sound mind. This rule also extends to feelings of unhappiness, anger and depression. - Only bet what you’re happy losing
You’re generally more likely to lose a bet than win it, so make sure you’re always comfortable with losing the amount you stake. This also means never gambling with borrowed funds. - Make use of on-site gambling tools
All betting sites licensed by the UKGC must include tools that help gamblers control their spending. You can make use of on-site limiters either by budget or time, as well as locking yourself out of your gambling accounts for days, weeks, months or even years.
