Argentina beat Croatia 3-0 in the Semi-Finals on Tuesday 13th December at the Lusail Iconic Stadium to secure a place in the World Cup Final where they will face either France or Morocco.
Croatia booked their place in the semi-final after what started as a lacklustre stalemate against Brazil but extra time brought on a goal each, and then the Croatians - with the help of keeper Dominik Livakovic - secured victory via the penalty shootout.
Argentina, despite taking an early lead, had to wait until the penalty shootout to secure their sixth appearance at a World Cup semi-final thanks to an impressive display from keeper Martinez who saved two spot kicks in a game that had a staggering number of yellow cards.
