Spain vs France Prediction: Who will reach the Nations League final?

Spain and France go head-to-head tonight for the chance to face Portugal in the Nations League final.
Portugal overcame Germany in the first semi-final with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring the goal that fired the 2019 Nations League winners into Sunday's showdown.

Spain vs France Preview
Both sides are the competition's two most recent winners, with Spain defeating Croatia in the 2023 final and France overcoming Spain in the 2021 edition. Thursday represents a repeat of the 2021 final and the Euro 2024 semi final – games that both finished 2-1.
A dramatic quarter-final win over the Netherlands saw Luis de la Fuente’s side progress to the semi-finals. La Roja drew 2-2 in Rotterdam, before a dramatic 3-3 draw in Valencia – a tie that saw Spain edge through on penalties.
France, too, needed penalties to progress through after a 2-2 draw with Croatia. Les Blues lost 2-0 in Split, before goals from Michael Olise and Balon D’or favourite Ousmane Dembele levelled the tie in Paris, taking the game to penalties.
Didier Deschamps has a selection dilemma on his hand, with seven of his squad involved in the Champions League final between PSG and Inter Milan.
Spain vs France Tips
Spain are arguably the most exciting international team in the world, with De la Fuente boasting an abundance of young talent at his disposal.
Over their last eight games since their Euro triumph, Spain have scored 17 goals. While their group stage games during the Euro’s were relatively low-scoring, their knockout games saw BTTS land all four games (4-1, 2-1, 2-1, 2-1) including the win over France. Their last four Nations League games have seen BTTS land, for an average of 4.5 goals per game.
France are another team packed with talent going forward, so we should be in for a barnstorming affair. Les Blues’ group stage games saw BTTS land 4/6 times, with these matches averaging three goals.
For my second bet, I'm backing both of Dean Huijsen and Theo Hernandez to be booked in an 11/1 Bet Builder with BoyleSports, who are offering a 25% boost on your potential winnings.
Dean Huijsen has impressed many in his first season at Bournemouth, so much so that Real Madrid have secured his services next season. The 20-year-old Dutch born defender is expected to partner teen sensation Pau Cubarsi at the heart of the defence. Huijsen made his debut away at Netherlands off the bench and was booked twenty minutes after coming on, before making two in the second leg.
He averaged 1.12 fouls per 90 for The Cherries, averaging 0.38 yellows per 90. Huijsen picked up six yellows in his last 11 starts of the season. Against a fluid France front three of Ousmane Dembele, Kylian Mbappe and Michael Olise, Huijsen could be dragged out of position and see himself in the referees notebook.
Theo Hernandez is deployed as an attacking wing-back for club side Theo Hernandez, but could have extra defensive responsibility on Thursday. Lamine Yamal is expected to play on the right side of Spain’s attack. The 17-year-old is averaging 1.73 fouls drawn per 90 on the international stage, while drawing 1.98 per 90 for Barcelona.
