Denmark are a best-priced 80/1 to lift the Euro 2024 trophy for the first time in 32 years.

Despite being one of only eight nations in the draw to have experienced winning the tournament, their price reflects a squad that's ageing, although they proved a couple of doubters wrong with a decent showing against England which will give them confidence going into their round-of-16 match against Germany.

Christian Eriksen is available at 100/1 to top the Euro 2024 scoring charts following his well-taken strike against Slovenia, Morten Hjulmand is out at 200/1 after scoring a corker in the draw against England, while Rasmus Hojlund is a 50/1 shot despite failing to find the back of the net so far.

However, on the whole, Denmark have disappointed in front of goal so far, netting just twice in the group stages.

After finishing second behind England in Group C - despite failing to win a single game - Denmark have set-up a tough last-16 duel against hosts Germany on Saturday 29th June in Dortmund.

Stun the Germans on their own patch and Denmark will progress through to the quarter-finals where they are likely to meet in-form Spain. If they overcome their last-eight opponents the Danes will book a semi-final spot for the second successive Euros: Either Portugal, Belgium, Slovenia, or France will be waiting here. The other side of the draw contains fewer big guns, with fellow Group C side England the favourites to make the final on July 14th.

Denmark Euro 2024 Head Coach

The Danes have kept faith with their manager, Kasper Hjulmand, despite their poor performance at the 2022 World Cup.

Hjulmand was announced in 2019 as the long-term successor to Age Hareide but wasn’t expected to take up the role until after Euro 2020.

However, the COVID-19 pandemic necessitated a one-year delay to the tournament and, with Hareide’s contract expiring in the meantime, there was a chance for Hjulmand to lead the nation’s challenge the following summer.

Hjulmand was widely acclaimed for leading Denmark to the Euro 2020 semi-finals and he has steered them safely through qualifying for Euro 2024 as the sectional winners of Group H.
