Czech Republic pushed Portugal all the way in their European Championships opener but, in the end, suffered a late 2-1 defeat. This was followed by a disappointing draw against Georgia.
However, on the plus side they still have every chance of progressing through to the last-16.
Read on for all of their updated odds and predictions.
Euro 2024 Czech Republic Odds
Czech Republic to win Euro 2024 odds
Looking at the outright winner odds for Euro 2024, the Czech Republic are now out at 250/1 to go all the way and lift the trophy on July 14th in Berlin.
When competing as Czechoslovakia, the national side managed to win the European Championship in 1976.
As the Czech Republic, the nation’s best return at a Euros came back in 1996 in England when they were beaten in the final by Germany after Oliver Bierhoff’s famous ‘golden goal’ winner in extra time.
Czech Republic Euro 2024 Top Scorer Odds
When it comes to a candidate for the Golden Boot at Euro 2024, Patrik Schick is the standout option from the Czech Republic squad.
The 28-year-old has enjoyed a tremendous season with club side Bayer Leverkusen, helping the team win their first Bundesliga title in their history this term.
Schick made a name for himself at Euro 2020 as he finished joint-top goalscorer at the competition alongside Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo with five goals but missed out on the Golden Boot due to Uefa’s tie-breaking assist criteria.
The Leverkusen star got off the mark in the 1-1 draw against Georgia and is now priced at 33/1 to finish top goalscorer at Euro 2024.
Czech Republic Group F Odds
The Czech Republic are in Group F, alongside Portugal, Turkey, and Georgia.
Czech Republic took the lead with half an hour to go in their opening game against Portugal but couldn't hold on as their opponents left it late to snatch a 2-1 win thanks to a 92nd winner from Francisco Conceicao.
This was followed by a 1-1 draw against European Championship newcomers Georgia, meaning they now head into their final game of Group F against Turkey needing a win. They will claim second spot if they secure all three points and group winners Portugal avoid defeat against Georgia.
Czech Republic Euro 2024 Route to the Final
Portugal have already won Group F meaning second place for the Czech Republic would see them face the winner of Group D.
Finishing third for the Czechs would witness them take on the winner of Group B or Group C in the Round of 16, depending on their finishing spot in the third-place rankings.
Czech Republic Euro 2024 Head Coach
Former Sparta Prague and Strasbourg midfielder Ivan Hasek took over as Czech Republic head coach in January this year and is the man tasked with leading his country into Euro 2024.
This is Hasek’s second stint with the national side, having had a very brief spell with the team in 2009 in a change of role from his position as president of the Czech Football Association.
Having spells managing in France, Japan, Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, Hasek will be hoping his experience can guide the Czech Republic deep into the knockout stages of Euro 2024 this summer.
