LiveScore Bet has a standard welcome bonus offer giving new customers £20 in free bets following a minimum £10 bet. This competes with welcome offers available at leading bookies. To be eligible for the offer, punters must place a £10 bet at 1.5 minimum odds (1/2) within 14 days of registering. When this bet has settled (this also must be within 14 days following sign-up), you’re then awarded two free bet tokens worth £10 each. These are valid for 7 days. 

LiveScore Bet continues to please with its regular promotions. Punters can access regular price boost offers that enhance odds on specific bets. These are displayed clearly alongside the relevant event in italics. The price boosts are available as single selections and there are maximum allowed stakes. 

Besides the price boosts, I really like the £5 free weekly bet. This is awarded when you place a £5 bet builder on selected matches. And as a horse racing fan, the best odds guaranteed offer made me confident that I was getting a good deal when betting on races. 

For those interested in accas, there’s a weekly offer of a £10 free acca bet that you can use on any sportsbook market. To qualify, you’ll need to place two £10 accas in a calendar week – they’ll need to settle in the same week too. Your qualifying bets must have 4 legs and combined minimum odds of 3.0 (2/1). 

Though some punters may seek more variety in promotional offers, LiveScore Bet certainly had enough to keep me coming back for more. And with the price boosts and best odds guaranteed, I think most bettors are quick to forget about any lack of bonus versatility.

Sports and Markets

For a relatively new player in the online bookmaker market, LiveScore Bet has a huge list of sports and markets. It is as versatile as any of the top-name brands like bet365 and William Hill. The most popular markets are displayed on the left bar under ‘featured’, with a list of all available sports and markets appearing as you scroll down. 

I was pleased to see an extensive list of sports to bet on, including some more niche ones like GAA Hurling and futsal. There’s also the chance to bet on politics and specials like the Oscars, BBC Sports Personality of the Year, and the next Bond after Daniel Craig.

Unlike some bookmakers offering a similar number of sports, the betting markets within each option are extensive too. For example, in football, you can bet on the COSAFA women’s championship, friendly internationals, U21 Euro qualifiers, the Turkish Cup, and smaller events like the Copa Santa Catarina in Brazil. The basketball markets are equally as impressive. You can bet on all of the major tournaments and leagues like NBA and the EuroCup as well as international leagues and US college basketball. 

Virtual sports betting is available for football, horse racing, and greyhounds. You’ll also find eSports like Counter-Strike2, Counter-Stike GO, League of Legends, Dota 2, and more. These betting events are available before the game is live or as it is played. 

Besides the bookmaker, there’s also a casino on site. Unlike many other bookmakers, this is integrated into the same app. One highlight for me though, was the LiveScore Bet Squads. With this, you choose five players that represent your team. If they score in the matches listed then you win.

Design and Usability

As a relative newcomer to the industry, I wasn’t surprised to find that LiveScore Bet felt modern and slick. The site is well-designed and not overcrowded, which makes it easier to browse and find the selections you’re looking for. 

The homepage offers one-click access to the current in-play betting options. The layout is quite ‘bookmaker typical’ with an extensive menu on the left, popular upcoming and in-play options occupying the centre space, and your bet slip on the right. Events with a price boost are clearly marked with stand-out colouring and there are scrolling offers towards the top. 

For me, the large space offered for the bet slip makes all the difference. Unlike William Hill’s smaller pop-up effort, the LiveScore Bet bet slip occupies a larger area, making it easy to see what you’re doing in more detail. 

I also appreciate how the site functions when you reduce the screen size. As someone who often uses a split screen, I regularly come across bookmakers that aren’t as accessible. LiveScore Bet, however, didn’t lose any functionality or visibility when positioned in split-screen mode. 

One improvement I’d like to see is the search function. Although available in the main menu of a sport, once you click into a section within that sport, it is no longer there. Elsewhere on the site – in the Help Centre, for instance – the search function is great.

Payment Methods and Withdrawal Times

The payment method variety – or lack thereof – was probably the only evidence of this being a newer site to me. The options are surprisingly limited. You can make deposits via Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, and Revolut only. For such a well-designed and extensive betting site, I found this quite surprising. 

The minimum deposit amount is £5 for Visa and Mastercard, and £10 for PayPal and Revolut, which is expected. The maximum deposit amount for all methods is £20,000. Minimum and maximum withdrawal amounts are the same for all methods with £10 being the minimum and £20,000 being the maximum. 

As limited as the banking options are, the withdrawal times are good. LiveScore Bet aims to process all withdrawals internally within 24 hours. This often happens quicker too. After processing, punters receive their cash promptly. For PayPal, this is instant, while Visa takes between 2 and 3 hours. The longest withdrawal times are for Mastercard payments and bank transfers. These take up to 3 working days. 

In-Play Betting Options

I can’t fault LiveScore Bet’s in-play betting options. Accessing this section is easy as it’s readily available at the top of the left menu. Plus, it also tells you how many in-play options are currently available. Whenever I’ve checked this out, it’s always been around the 60 mark, which is excellent. 

Within the in-play betting section, you can choose from highlights, live-streamed events, and the different spots. This includes football, tennis, baseball, basketball, cricket, snooker, darts, table tennis, and volleyball. I was pleased with the variety of in-play options, especially as you can even access in-play eSports betting.

Even if you don’t watch the live stream – or it’s unavailable – you can keep up to date with the latest information through a nice infographic positioned just above your betting slip. Though this is interesting and updates in real-time, it doesn’t show past information or game statistics. 

The available in-play betting markets depend on the event. Common ones include goals, handicaps, over/under, both teams to score, correct score, total goals, and spread bets. The sports with the most in-play options are football and cricket. 

LiveScore Bet also offers cash out on live betting markets. Punters can see whether this is available after placing a bet as there’ll be a ‘cash out’ button next to the bet. You can look for the cash out tab, which tells you about qualifying bets. 

LiveScore Bet Betting App

The LiveScore Bet team has clearly thought extensively about its app. It is a fantastic offering and is available for both Android and iOS users. You’ll find everything available at your fingertips in a streamlined and functional design. Both apps are linked to the homepage, directing visiting punters to their respective app stores.

Both software versions of the app have been downloaded extensively and have great reviews. Ratings of the Android App are 4.3 out of 5, which is above average, but it’s the iOS App that is impressive with its rating of 4.7 out of 5 coming from over 4200 reviews.

Customer Support

Should bettors need support, there is a good amount available. The help centre has an extensive amount of FAQs, which cover almost all of the common questions you might have as well as some more specific ones. 

There is also a 24/7 live chat function for queries. This does get a little annoying, however. I found that it would randomly launch and chat with me as I was browsing the FAQs, even when I’d found the answer I was looking for. Should you need to use this though, it is helpful. After the initial brief chat with a virtual assistant, you’re quickly connected to a live member of the support team to help with your query.

Summary

Having not heard much about LiveScore Bet’s reputation, I was keen to try it out for myself. It was clear from the moment I loaded the homepage that this bookmaker wants to be among the top UK betting sites. The website is slick and sophisticated with outstanding functionality and great design features. Its advantages don’t stop there either. There is an excellent sports offering, fantastic odds, and enticing promotions too.
