Wimbledon Semi-Final Tips: 5/1 double for Thursday at Wimbledon

We’re at the semi-final stage of Wimbledon and this is well and truly the business end of the competition. The best of the best are still in action and you don’t get to the stage by being lucky! Thursday has action from the Women’s semi-finals and the doubles semi-finals.
We’ll be looking at the betting market for the day and picking out our best bets for the action.
Wimbledon Semi-Final Tips
Bopanna/Ebden to win
The two doubles partners have locked horns four times in 2023 and the record is currently dead even with both pairs having two wins. This match is incredibly 50/50 and we’ll be siding with the betting sites underdog Bopanna and Ebden to win this one.
Rohan Bopanna has been a stalwart in the doubles game for many years now and has now reached the Wimbledon semi finals three times and he’ll be putting his all into getting into the final. On the other hand this is the first time either Skupski or Koolhof have got to the Wimbledon semi’s which gives Bopanna and Ebden a huge experience advantage.
Matty Ebden actually won Wimbledon last year with Max Purcell, this time he has an even more experienced doubles player with him and there’s no reason they can’t at the very least get past Skupski and Koolhof.
Krawietz / Puetz to win 2-0
Krawietz and Puetz have looked solid at this year’s Wimbledon tournament. They made lightwork of Jamie Murray and Michael Venus where they won in straight sets and didn’t lose their serve once. They came into that match as the underdogs and the odds did not reflect the performance we saw on that day.
Granollers and Zeballos have also looked very good so far but they’ve yet to face any notable doubles partners and have only really played some new doubles partners that consist of singles players taking part in the doubles tour, if that makes sense. Granollers and Zeballos are yet to make any decent progress in Wimbledon since their final appearance in 2021 and it’s clear that it’s not their favourite surface whereas Krawietz and Puetz have won grass titles in Halle before.
I think the experience is on the German’s side and they should have a fairly comfortable game if they play anything like they did against Murray and Venus.
With the limited action we’ll just be sticking with this double which you can get at 5.18/1 with Bet365.
