US Open Day 1 Betting Tips: Three bets for the opening day

The fourth and final Grand Slam of the year takes place in New York over the course of the next two weeks.
Our tennis tipster Max Saakyan has already previewed the Men's and Women's outright markets at the US Open - click on the links below to read - and he's going to be with us every step of the way, supplying his best bets for each and every day of the tournament.
As the first day of the highly anticipated US Open unfolds, the stage is set for an electrifying tournament with both Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic the huge favourites for the men's competition, while Iga Swiatek tops the betting on the women's side.
A total of 256 players from both the men's and women's side will be competing in the opening round of the Grand Slam. On Monday, the top half of the women's draw and the bottom half of the men's draw will be played. That's a total of 64 matches to choose from!
Without further ado, here are Max Saakyan's three best bets for Day 1.
US Open Day 1 Tips
We'll first look into Sebastian Korda's match against Martin Fucsovics with the pair facing each other on Court 11.
Sebastian Korda faced Martin Fucsovics last week, where the American beat the Hungarian in straight sets: 7-6 6-3.
I'm surprised money is coming in for Fucsovics, but that suits us with some value being shown for the American.
Korda withdrew in last week's tournament in the semi-finals, probably to prepare for the US Open. But in case there is an injury or fitness worry, I'm happy to take the first set moneyline number against Martin Fucsovics.
Let's move onto the women's side, where we have Varvara Gracheva facing against Taylor Townsend.
The American has been competitive against the top players on hard courts, taking Ekaterina Alexandrova (twice), Lesya Tsurenko (twice), and Anna Anisimova to three sets, while she also beat Lesya Tsurenko earlier this month.
Gracheva hasn't been in the best form this month, but has pushed many of the top players. More recently we've seen a lapse in concentration in many of her performances, and I think the Over 2.5 Sets shows some promising value.
In our third and final match I'm looking at Sebastian Ofner vs Nuno Borges.
This match is screaming to me a tight five set battle!
Ofner has been in great form this year and has broken into the Top 60 for the first time in his career.
Meanwhile, Nuno Borges has struggled recently, losing his last six matches.
I think Over 38.5 Games is a really good look here, with both players possessing some big serves.
