Strictly Come Dancing Week 10 Elimination Recap
Angela Scanlon became the latest Strictly casualty as we move into the quarter-finals. She and partner Carlos Gu had a joyous run in this series with some memorable highlights, but lost out to Layton Williams in the dance-off.
Sunday night was Layton’s first appearance in the dance-off after the West End star turned in his lowest score since week three.
Odds on Layton to win have now climbed to a highest ever price of 16/1, available at BoyleSports, William Hill, BetVictor and Parimatch.
Strictly Come Dancing Winner Odds
Once again Ellie Leach topped the judges’ leaderboard with a score of 38 for her Argentine tango. She remains the firm favourite, with a best price on her to win coming from BoyleSports at 1/3.
Remarkably, Annabel Croft is now in second place according to our bookies after picking up her first ten of the series for her paso doble.
The former tennis pro had been a 100/1 outsider three weeks in a row, but odds on her to win have plummeted to a lowest ever price of 12/1 at bet365. This is considered generous by the other bookies’ standards, who have her at 4/1 or lower.
Sandwiched between Ellie and Annabel on the leaderboard was Bobby Brazier, who dedicated his couple’s choice routine to his late mum. He scored 37 points, including his first tens of the series from Shirley and Anton.
Odds on Bobby to win have lengthened slightly to a best price of 20/1 from BoyleSports, William Hill, Unibet and Betfred.
Nigel Harman can once again consider himself lucky to avoid the dance-off. He finished second-bottom on the leaderboard with 33 points for his rumba, and odds on him to win have climbed significantly to a best price of 25/1 from BoyleSports and William Hill.

Next Elimination Odds
With only five couples left it’s becoming very difficult to call the next elimination.
Ellie and Layton are clearly the two best dancers, so it’s reasonable to assume they’ll both be safe: even if they drop into the dance-off, their quality should be enough against the other celebrities.
That just leaves Annabel, Bobby and Nigel – and it will all depend on which of the dances they’re performing suits them best.
Annabel is back in ballroom dancing a foxtrot; in previous rounds the judges have made comments on her grace around the floor when in hold, and praised her for improvements to her frame.
Bobby is dancing a salsa and has shown us his exuberance for the Latin dances throughout the show. He has great natural rhythm and hips that do not lie.
Nigel is doing a Charleston. Of all the dances this one feels the most uncomfortable to me, so I’m backing him again for elimination. With such drastic changes in odds for Annabel, Nigel is now the bookies’ favourite to leave the show – you can find a best price from bet365 at 13/10.
