Scotland vs. France Predictions: Hard to look past anything but a French win in Edinburgh

Scotland vs France Odds
After a weekend off, the Six Nations is well and truly back, with some cracking games on offer on Saturday and Sunday.
Scotland vs France Tips
Les Blues. France. The only team left in the hunt for the Grand Slam. They’ve enjoyed a blistering start to this year’s tournament, after win’s over Italy and Ireland. The French have put together a sensational side, including the likes of Antoine Dupont, and it’s no surprise that they are the clear favourites for the Six Nations (4/7) and just 6/4 to win the prestigious Grand Slam.
They travel to Edinburgh this Saturday to face a Scotland side that are seemingly right on the edge of something special themselves. A disappointing defeat last time out to Wales followed an impressive opening day victory against England. The Scots have a good record against France in recent times, winning at Murrayfield in 2020, and ending their 22 year wait for a victory on French soil last year. As ever, we’ll look ahead to the game, and provide two tips.
First off, it’s hard to look past anything but a French win. The visitors are 4/11 with most bookies to win on Saturday, and with good reason. Their previously mentioned superstar squad, led by World Player of the Year Dupont will be a match for any side currently in rugby, and I expect that class to show here. They held off a spirited fightback to beat Ireland 30-24 in their previous encounter, and although they’re missing leading Six Nations try scorer Gabin Villiere, they should have enough to see them over the line. I was tempted by the bigger price of 11/2 for France to win by 6-10 points, but the bigger margin of 1-12 will give us more security here.
Secondly, I’m looking to Yoram Moefana to score 2 or more tries in the 80 minutes at Murrayfield. Moefana has been moved out to the wing to fill in for the injured Villiere, and should provide an interesting matchup against Scotland’s Darcy Graham. The previously mentioned Villiere has had a great time out wide for the French, and I expect Moefana to profit just the same. With Dupont leading the way for assists in the tournament, there’ll be plenty of chances for Moefana to cross the line, and the price of 17/2 looks enticing.
Best of luck if you’re following these selections, and please gamble responsibly.
