Next Hull Manager Odds: Carlos Carvalhal hot favourite

Hull City axed boss Shota Arveladze on Friday just hours before their match at home to Luton, which they subsequently lost 2-0.
Interim Andy Dawson oversaw the defeat but is unlikely to be in contention for the permanent post (33/1) as the club searches for their third head coach of 2022.
Instead, all eyes are currently glued on Carlos Carvalhal after he was installed as the odds-on favourite for the Championship vacancy.
The former Sheffield Wed and Swansea boss is even as short as 1/5 with Sky Bet and 1/4 with BetVictor, but is still around the 4/6 mark with William Hill.
Carvalhal was hotly linked with the likes of Blackburn and Burnley in the summer, but instead of returning to the UK he opted to take charge of UAE side Al Wahda FC where he penned a one-year deal after leaving Braga. So far, he’s only managed four games, which includes a 4-0 thumping of Al Bataeh over the weekend. There have since been reports that he’s already left the club, however this has not been officially confirmed.
Carvalhal previously took Sheff Wed to back-to-back Championship play-offs, then moved into the Premier League with Swansea, who he was unable to prevent from a relegation down to the second-tier.
He bounced back from the disappointment to lead Portuguese side Rio Ave FC to 5th and into Europe, complete with an historic club-record points total in the top-flight.
He then went one step better and fired Braga to domestic cup glory - beating both Porto and Benfica en-route - plus the quarter-finals of the Europa League.

Considering that the 56-year-old is believed to have rebuffed Championship clubs back in May, it would therefore come as a surprise if he was to perform a u-turn after all of four games in charge of Al Wahda. On the other hand, the Portuguese coach may well have his head turned by the vacancy at Premier League side Wolves, although he’s a 33/1 outsider for that job.
Former Besiktas boss Sergen Yalçın (6/1), ex-Huddersfield coach Carlos Corberan (12/1) - linked with Middlesbrough - the recently departed Derby interim manager Liam Rosenior (16/1), and Ersun Yanal are other names that have been linked with Hull, who are one point above the relegation zone in 20th following five straight defeats.
Meanwhile, the 25/1 priced Chris Wilder has today (Monday) become available after leaving Boro, while Steve Bruce - who led the Tigers to two promotions - could soon be available...
