Next Crystal Palace Manager Odds: Oliver Glasner favourite to replace Roy Hodgson at Selhurst Park
Crystal Palace, the oldest league club in existence, are enduring a turbulent season under Roy Hodgson. The 76-year-old's second spell with the South Londoners began positively, ending a 13-game winless run and avoiding relegation from the Premier League last season.
This campaign, however, has returned very little joy for fans, with The Eagles sitting in 15th place after a latest defeat to Chelsea on Monday night - only five points above the dreaded drop zone. Speculation continues to surround the former England and Liverpool boss, whose future, to put it mildly, seems uncertain.
A Crystal Palace Next Manager market has expectedly surfaced, with Sky Bet and BetVictor offering odds for a potential Roy Hodgson replacement. So while the pressure ramps up on the current boss we've analysed the top contenders in the betting ahead of what could be the imminent announcement of his departure.

Oliver Glasner - 1/10
Thursday morning has seen Crystal Palace cancel this weekend's news conference due to current boss Roy Hodgson having 'taken ill'. Reports suggest that the Premier League's oldest manager is set for the chop and have stated that former Frankfurt leader Oliver Glasner is now a strong favourite for the position.
In his debut season with The Eagles, Glasner lifted the Europa League, beating Scottish side Rangers in a penalty shootout. He followed that up by guiding Frankfurt to the knockout stages of the Champions League last season but ultimately departed from the club several months later at the end of the campaign having gone 10 matches without a win.
Steve Cooper - 6/1
The 44-year-old is available at 7/2 to replace Roy Hodgson in the Crystal Palace dugout. Steve Cooper, who is not prepared to take a lengthy sabbatical from management having already sat out since being sacked by Nottingham Forest in December, is reportedly open to taking the Palace job.
Cooper took Forest from bottom of the Championship in September 2021 and led them to promotion to the Premier League via a play-off final win over Huddersfield Town in May 2022 - the club's first return to the English top flight in 23 years. He then followed that up with survival in his second season, with supporters helping convince owner Evangelis Marinakis to stick by their man despite rocky periods.
The Welshman likes his teams to play with good organisation and structure, citing former Barcelona B coach Jose Segura as his main influence, having worked together at Liverpool's academy. His preferred formations, featuring two holding midfielders and wing-backs, would also suit Palace's current personnel.
Kieran McKenna - 8/1
Northern Irishman Kieran McKenna, previously in pole position, is now third in the betting to assume the Palace hotseat after his odds were cut from 6/1 to 4/6.
His experience started in charge of Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United's U-18s teams before being promoted to the first team picture at Old Trafford as an assistant to Jose Mourinho.
McKenna has forged a real name for himself since being appointed as manager of Ipswich Town in December 2021, producing an immediate uptick in form and eventually guiding The Tractor Boys to promotion in his sophomore season. Town have conducted themselves very well in their first Championship campaign for five seasons, occupying an automatic promotion place for the longest time and remaining in contention for the play-offs.
The 37-year-old has been described as a meticulous planner and shrewd operator. His CV suggests he's ready for a shot in the promised land, but will the Crystal Palace board see him as a worthy gamble at this point in the season?
Graham Potter - 16/1
Former Brighton and Chelsea head coach Graham Potter follows McKenna in the betting at around the 3/1 mark. The Englishman famously made his name as coach of Ostersund in Sweden, taking the club from the fourth tier to the Swedish top flight and an historic campaign in the Europa League group stages.
After that success, he would take up the Swansea City head coach position for a year before Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion came knocking. Potter's attractive style gained him many plaudits, with The Seagulls securing their highest ever top-flight finish in 9th with 51 points. Eventually, a top club beckoned, but his time at Chelsea was short-lived, accruing the lowest points-per-game tally of any Chelsea manager during his seven-month spell.
Potter is renowned for being progressive - a far cry from Hodgson's pragmatism. His tactical flexibility and emphasis on possession-based football make him an attractive appointment for many Premier League clubs, including Crystal Palace.
Others
Jesse Marsch, Michael Carrick, Jose Mourinho, Scott Parker, Neil Lennon and Gareth Southgate all sit further down in the market to replace Roy.
Further afield, Frank Lampard, Brendan Rodgers, Steve Bruce (33/1), Ruud van Nistelrooy and John Terry (33/1) are some other names rounding out the betting.
