Premier League Sack Race 2025/26 Odds: The Favourites
We've run through the top contenders in the running to become the tenth exit of the season, according to the latest odds - see the full market in the odds table above.
Arne Slot (Liverpool): 11/8
Liverpool boss Arne Slot is priced at 11/8 to become the tenth top-flight manager to depart this season.
A 50/1 outsider last month, Slot has come under increased pressure following Liverpool's stuttering run of results, which includes a shock loss to rock-bottom Wolves and a first-leg defeat to PSG in the Champions League; a competition that remains their last remaining hope of silverware this season.
With their hopes of a top-5 finish also up in the air, Slot needs results fast.
Oliver Glasner (Crystal Palace): 11/8
Oliver Glasner is the joint favourite alongside Slot at 11/8.
Crystal Palace are actually enjoying a great run of form with just one defeat in their last 10 games in all competitions.
The Eagles have one foot in the semi-finals of the Conference League following a 3-0 first-leg win over Fiorentina and over the weekend they came from behind to beat Newcastle 2-1 in the league.
However, with Oliver Glasner set to leave in the summer, bookmakers are taking no chances. As for the next Crystal Palace manager odds, Robbie Keane remains the favourite, ahead of Thomas Frank and Sean Dyche.
Eddie Howe (Newcastle): 11/4
Eddie Howe is now priced at just 11/4 in the betting after Newcastle once again failed to hold onto the lead in a 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace.
No club has dropped more points (25) than the Toon this season, leaving Howe's side 14th in the table and 10 points adrift of the top-5.
Liam Rosenior (Chelsea): 8/1
After a bright start to life at Chelsea, Liam Rosenior is now feeling the heat following a run of four defeats in five Premier League games.
His Blues side were battered 8-2 on aggregate by PSG in the Champions League and have lost their last three league games to nil, which has hampered their hopes of returning to Europe's prized competition next season.
As a result, the next Chelsea manager market has reopened, featuring Felipe Luis, Oliver Glasner, and Xavi.
Scott Parker (Burnley): 8/1
Scott Parker, 8/1, was the unfortunate “winner” of the Premier League Sack Race in 2022/23 after being dismissed by Bournemouth in the wake of their 9-0 hammering at Anfield.
Only Wolves have picked up fewer points than the Clarets, who are 19th in the table and 12 points adrift of safety with just six games to go.
Parker’s side have struggled for victories throughout the campaign, managing just four so far, with just one coming from their last 23 games.
