Love Island Winner Odds 2022: Davide and Ekin-Su firm favourites for top prize

After eight entertaining weeks, Love Island 2022 reaches its conclusion this Monday evening, and with it comes a final BettingOdds.com article to squeeze as much juice out of those prices from our pairings, despite a clear favourite in the running to be declared the Winning Couple.
We have been left with Andrew and Tasha (11/1), Dami and Indiyah (22/1), Davide and Ekin-Su (1/7), and Luca and Gemma (12/1), all OGs bar voluptuous Turkish tornado Ekin-Su.
Sunday night’s penultimate episode brought the parents for a peruse ‘round artificial paradise, and the Mallorcan Sun typically brought a traditional BBQ as some of the islanders were in for a royal grilling. The basis of certain relationships came under yet more intense scrutiny but also solidified the majority of the outside opinions: Davide is a Don; T-andrew forever; Dami has been a very naughty boy.
It was so agonisingly close, yet so far, for couple Adam and Paige who just missed out on going the distance, leaving a final four couplings to go for the £50,000 prize money. And if you play your cards right, you could also be rolling in the readies when Laura Whitmore reveals the eighth season champions sometime around 10pm GMT.
Davide and Ekin-Su received the most votes from their fellow islanders when asked to name the villa’s least compatible couple, but also received the most votes from the public and were swiftly announced as the first couple saved in front of the firepit. As we stated in the previous article, expect them to be announced as victors. We also stated that Adam and Paige would be a good punt for runners-up. Ignore that. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find odds on Luca lamping poor Laura once he becomes outraged about not getting enough votes from the public but we have found some decent prices elsewhere, if you remove the favourites.
Andrew Le Page and Tasha Ghouri are at Evens, Luca Bish and Gemma Owen 6/5, and Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack 10/1. You can see where the value is.
If Gemma Owen was partnered with anyone else, we’ll be fully behind the teen for the silver spot. Unfortunately, she’s with perpetually-green eyed fishy fellow Luca, with his petulance turning the public against him. Andrew and Tasha are certainly the strongest couple (with the obvious caveat that this is, after all, a constructed reality TV show) being the first to declare themselves boyfriend and girlfriend and each went down swimmingly with the respective parents-in-love. But 1/1 ain't for the most daring.
Instead, though Dami and Indiyah are fourth of four to be named LI-XXII winners, their strong personalities have garnered strong support. A week ago they were named in the bottom pile, landing in the bottom three of the public vote but they have proven to be a genuinely endearing and entertaining couple. The bookies always seem to know where the pendulum will swing, but think of how smug you’ll be when the London Irish merging are just one of the final two couples remaining after backing them at 10/1 (bet365).
Love Island 2022 has certainly been one of the most riveting series with some of the most memorable couples and characters in the show’s history. Davide and Ekin-Su may be King and Queen-in-waiting but don’t discount a few more shocks and surprises before the curtain comes down and the Sun sets on another sensationally sexy summer.
