Leicester vs. Saracens Predictions: Back Sarries to become back-to-back Champions at Twickenham

Gallagher Premiership Final Odds...
Well, here we are, the final day of the Gallagher Premiership season, as Leicester and Saracens face off at Twickenham on Saturday, and we've asked our resident jeans and sheux aficionado, @PeteMarsden_, to have a deep dive into the rugger.
Leicester Tigers vs Saracens Tips
The scenarios couldn’t be more different for the teams, with Leicester looking to reach the top of English rugby for the first time in nine years, after they had a ridiculous record of nine successive finals between 2005 and 2013. For Saracens, they’re looking to become back-to-back Champions, after their title winning campaign in the Championship last season.
In terms of the betting, Saracens are odds-on, with the Tigers priced at just under 2/1 with most bookmakers. The game will be shown live on BT Sport and ITV4, kicking off at 3pm. Wayne Barnes is the man in the middle, taking charge of his 10th Premiership Final. There is also history in this particular fixture, with the sides having faced each other twice before on this grand stage, with each winning once, back in 2011 and 2010.
As ever, we’ve previewed this massive fixture, and picked out two tips that have caught our eye.
The head-to-head record coming into this game would give the edge to Saracens. Despite Leicester topping the pile this season, and remaining unbeaten at home, they’ve got a poor record of just one win in seven against their opponents on Saturday.
Interestingly enough for Sarries, this bet has landed in each of their last six wins against the Tigers, with the difference sometimes reaching into double figures. The runners-up in the table are in good form coming into the Final, excluding their demolition result against Gloucester, they’ve won five of their last six games, with this line landing in all but one of those victories.
Overall, it should be a quality game, but I expect the division’s second-placed team to pick up the Premiership title for a sixth time.
It’s only right that we branch it out a bit more for the long-shot isn’t it? After all, it is a final. This hasn’t landed in any of their recent victories, with a number of them landing by a much bigger margin.
Still, it’s a final, there’s the ultimate prize to play for, and I expect things will be very back and forth, with plenty of nerves on show. However, an important thing to note is that this line has landed in each of Saracens’ last three wins over Leicester, and if they can get an early try scored, then who knows what could happen.
This is available at a best price of 7/1 with Betfair, 5/1 and 9/2 elsewhere. Good luck if you’re following these bets, enjoy the game, and please remember to gamble responsibly.
