Glastonbury Odds 2024: Dua Lipa and Coldplay odds-on to headline Pyramid Stage
William Hill have released odds for who will headline Glastonbury Festival in 2024 and today at bettingodds.com we’ve taken a look at which artists are the favourites.
Nestled in the heart of the English countryside, the Glastonbury Festival is a symbol of artistic diversity, environmental consciousness, and collective euphoria. Drawing music aficionados, artists, and free spirits from around the globe, the iconic event offers an unparalleled fusion of world-class musical performances, immersive art installations, and a vibrant, socially-conscious atmosphere.
With its rich history dating back to the 1970s, Glastonbury has become more than just a music festival – it's a transformative experience that unites generations and blurs the boundaries between music, art, and human connection.
So let’s take a look at the odds. William Hill have a market for who will headline the Pyramid stage in 2024 and below we’ve taken a look at some of the names at the head of the betting.
Dua Lipa - 1/3
Despite rumours that she would feature as a surprise guest during Elton John’s stunning show, Dua Lipa did not feature at Glastonbury in 2023. Priced at just 1/3, Dua Lipa’s odds imply a 75% chance that she will headline on any evening next year
Coldplay - 4/9
The only other artist who is odds-on in this market is Coldplay. Familiar with Worthy Farm, Coldplay have been a regular feature at Glastonbury. They initially headlined in 2002, followed by appearances in 2005, 2011, and 2016.
Foo Fighters 5/2
In 2023 Foo Fighters kicked-off the weekend in classic Glastonbury fashion, taking to the stage as surprise performers. Their heartfelt tribute to their late drummer, Taylor Hawkins, added a poignant touch to the occasion. Dave Grohl and co can currently be backed at 5/2 to headline the Pyramid stage in 2024.
Rhianna - 3/1
Rhianna’s Glastonbury plans took a bump in 2023 with the superstar having to pull out due to expecting her second child. A return to Somerset could be on the cards next summer with odds of 3/1 on show for a headline slot.
The 1975 - 7/2
Having graced the festival three times before, The 1975 once performed on The Other stage in 2016, but are looking to become one of the headline acts in 2024. Matt Healy and the band met back in secondary school and are priced at 7/2 to take to the Pyramid stage as headliners.
Madonna 4/1
Unbelievably the Queen of Pop has never performed at Glastonbury. Now at the age of 65 Madonna would be a fitting act for the Legends slot at the festival and odds of 4/1 imply a 20% chance that she will be one of the headliners.
Others
Next in the betting, we have Depeche Mode at 9/2, then Sam Fender, Blur and Oasis at 6/1. Harry Styles and Pulp are chalked-up at 7/1, while Beyonce and The Spice Girls can be backed at 8/1.
