Big Brother Final Is Set
Matty was the final victim of ‘Reckoning Week’ after he was evicted following the penultimate public vote.
Letters from home were delivered to each housemate, in an emotional task, but Matty’s letter was from Big Brother, informing him that he had been evicted and must leave the house immediately.
The final five housemates were left shell-shocked by the announcement but attention now turns to their final hours in the house and the £100,000 prize that is on the line for the winner.
The live final kicks off on ITV at 9pm, with Jordan being the odds-on favourite to win the competition.
A big night of action is expected over the 90 minute final, as the latest series of Big Brother draws to a close.
Big Brother 2023 Winner Odds
Nominated housemates are at risk of being evicted, which is where the public come in. Viewers will vote for which housemate they want to leave the Big Brother house and, ultimately, crown the winner.
Housemates can be nominated for eviction for a variety of reasons - losing challenges, breaking rules or, most commonly, by being nominated by their fellow housemates.
In the ultimate popularity contest, the public will then choose which of the nominated housemates will return to the outside world.
Let’s take a look at the housemates and their latest odds to win the competition.
Jordan Sangha - 8/13
Jordan, 25, is a lawyer from Scunthorpe but his well-spoken, middle class accent - a way of speaking he said he learned from watching Downton Abbey - belies that.Much has been made of his relationship with Henry, with the two many intimate moments in the house. Despite his sarcastic nature, he’s won over the
Yinrun Huang - 11/2
25-year-old, customer support agent, Yinrun is originally from China and has entered the Big Brother house to become “more immersed in British culture”.
Yinrun has been the favourite for most of the series but her emotional outbursts seem to have lost her fans in the past week, with many believing she’s using them to win sympathy.
public with his blunt honesty.
Olivia Young - 6/1
Olivia, who has a fear of jam, has had a tumultuous start to life in the Big Brother house, first being up for eviction (after Jenkin determined she would be the hardest housemate to live with), but then being given immunity from eviction this week, by completing a secret challenge set by Big Brother.
She’s been the loudest member of the house, something which hasn’t always made her popular but she’s been instrumental in keeping spirits up in the house.
Henry Southan - 12/1
Henry hails from the Cotswolds and is a good writer. He’d most like to share a cocktail with Boris Johnson and doesn’t think he’s properly an adult yet, despite being 25.
Viewers have warmed to him as the series has gone on, with his on-off romance with Jordan becoming one of the most popular stories coming from within the house.
Noky Simbani - 50/1
A former Miss Great Britain, Noky is hoping to “show people what pageant girls are really like and disprove a lot of stereotypes around them” on her journey in the house.
There’s still a feeling that Noky hasn’t shown her true self, rather a PR version of herself, something which may ultimately cost her victory.
