Australian Open Betting Tips: Best bets for Men’s Semi-Finals
Defending Australian Open women's champion Aryna Sabalenka will face 12th seed Qinwen Zheng in Satuday's Final following their respective wins over Coco Gauff and qualifier Dayana Yastremska in the semi-finals.
Attention now spins over to the men’s side where we have a couple of blockbuster bouts between 10-time winner Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner, followed by Daniil Medvedev against Alexander Zverev.
Australian Open Women's Semi Final Betting Tips
We’re expecting an absolute barnstormer between Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner as the duo battle it out for a prized place in the final. Djokovic overcame Taylor Fritz in four sets as he took one step closer to a 25th Slam title, while Sinner was superb in a 3-0 set win over Andrey Rublev.
Sinner has been absolutely brilliant so far, winning all five of his matches 3-0, which sets up a mouthwatering duel with defending champion Djokovic who has been taken to four sets in three of his five matches.
The Serbian holds a narrow 4-2 advantage over Sinner in head-to-head meetings, including two Slam victories at Wimbledon, however, Sinner won 2-1 in the last encounter in November’s David Cup.
Djokovic is on a remarkable 33-match winning streak at the Australian Open and has won all 10 semi-finals here, but while he will face his toughest test yet in the current edition, I’m backing the favourite to win with Sinner to claim a set or two in the process, an outcome that is available at a best-priced 6/4 with BoyleSports.
Alexander Zverev conjured up one of the best performances of his career in dismantling the well-fancied Carlos Alvcaraz in four sets. I feared for him after he blew a 4-1 lead to take the match 3-0, but he showed resilience and guile to bound back and secure the victory in four sets.
Up next is the German faces a familiar foe in Daniil Medvedev, with whom he’s played 18 matches against. It’s Medvedev who holds the superior 11-7 record, winning a whopping nine of the last 11 clashes. They have, however, surprisingly never drawn swords in a Slam.
Both players have already been involved in two five-setters this tournament and I can see this one going the distance too with Medvedev coming out on top at 5/1.
Australian Open Men’s Winner Odds
We're now down to the final four with defending champion and 10-time winner Novak Djokovic remaining the bookmakers’ favourite (1/1) to go all the way. The Serbian won three of the four Slams last season and has impressed so far down under.
Next in the running is the 13/2 priced Jannik Sinner, who faces Djokovic in a blockbuster last-four clash.
Daniil Medvedev is hovering around the 5/1 mark with Carlos Alcaraz's conquerer Alexander Zverev available at 8/1.

Defending champion Aryna Sabalenka has stormed her way through to her second successive final here after beating Coco Gauff 7-6 6-4. The Belarusian has yet to drop a single set with bookmakers pricing her at just 1/5 to make it back-to-back triumphs.
4/1 outsider Quinwen Zheng has enjoyed an extremely impressive tournament so far. This will be her first-ever final in just her ninth appearance in Grand Slams, having previously only ventured past the fourth round once in her career.
