The Tetley's stadium is the home of dog racing in the north east and this popular venue has space for 1,700 spectators and parking is available for 500 vehicles.
Race meetings are held here on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings, as well as BAGS (Bookmakers' Afternoon Greyhound Service) meetings on Tuesday and Thursdays.
The track is 378 metres in circumference, the first bend is at 93 metere for a 450 metre race and 84 metres for a 640 metre races. Distances that are raced here are 261, 450, 640 and 828 metres. The hare type that is currently used here is the Outside McGee.
