• Foursomes - In Solheim Cup foursomes, pairs of golfers alternate tee shots on odd and even-numbered holes. There are eight such matches over two days, requiring precise teamwork and strategy.
• Four-balls - The four-ball format involves pairs of players from each team, with each player playing their own ball on each hole. The team's score for a hole is determined by the lower of the two players' scores. Points are awarded for winning holes, and the team with the most points at the end of the match wins. Four balls demand a balance of individual performance and team strategy, making it an exciting and competitive format in the Solheim Cup.
• Singles - In the Solheim Cup, singles matches involve one-on-one individual competition, with each player aiming to win their match to earn points for their team.
