Founded in 1903, Bradford immediately found themselves playing in the second tier of English football and it wasn't long before they were battling it out in the top flight. An FA Cup final success followed in 1911 and the club continued to blossom, but that would be their only FA Cup success in their history.
Relegated in 1922, the club suffered 77 years of playing in the lower echelons of the football ladder, but they eventually won promotion to the Premier League in 1999, where they cemented their place in the top flight after the first season.
However, they tasted relegation the following campaign and have been on a slippery slope ever since gradually plummeting through the divisions until they ended up in their current position in the fourth tier of the game, in League Two.
A losing record in a binary last 10 games has seen Bradford City endure a period of poorer form. Invaluable wins against Blackpool, Doncaster Rovers, Peterborough United, Stockport County has seen them keep their heads above water, but reversals against Mansfield Town, Cardiff City, Huddersfield Town, Lincoln City, Luton Town, AFC Wimbledon has put them on the slide.
