Oliver Glasner
Oliver Glasner is the manager of Crystal Palace.
Before Palace, he managed Eintracht Frankfurt, with whom he led to Europa League glory.
After retiring as a player, Glasner became a coach and started his career as an assistant coach at FC Red Bull Salzburg's youth teams. He then worked as an assistant coach for several Austrian clubs, including FC Pasching and FC Linz.
In 2013, Glasner was appointed head coach of LASK Linz, in the Austrian second division. He led the team to promotion to the Austrian Bundesliga in his first season in charge and helped the club establish themselves as a top-flight team in the following seasons.
Glasner's success at LASK Linz caught the attention of VfL Wolfsburg, a German club competing in the Bundesliga. He was appointed as head coach of Wolfsburg in 2019 and led the team to a seventh-place finish in his first season. In his second season, he guided Wolfsburg to a fourth-place finish and qualification for the UEFA Champions League.
In May 2021, Glasner left Wolfsburg to become the head coach of Eintracht Frankfurt, another German club competing in the Bundesliga.
