Danny Cowley is the head coach of Colchester United, who he joined - alongside his brother Nicky - in January 2024.

Formerly of Braintree Town and Concord Rangers, Cowley then took charge of Lincoln in May 2016 and proceeded to lead the Imps to National Conference glory, while he also gained widespread media attention after he impressively steered the club through to the FA Cup quarter-finals: Lincoln were the first non-league club to reach the last-8 of the competition in over a century.

He then won League Two at the second attempt, before leaving for Huddersfield in September 2019, while a spell at Portsmouth followed.
