Wimbledon Quarter-Final Tips: 8/1 treble bet featuring Rublev and Djokovic
Tuesday at Wimbledon sees the quarter-finals get underway in the men's and women's side of the tournament.
We'll be taking a look at the four matches on offer and picking our best bets from today's action.
Wimbledon Quarter Final Tips
Andrey Rublev to win a set vs Novak Djokovic
Novak Djokovic proved he was human yet again against Hurkacz after dropping a set 7-5, losing his serve at a key moment in the set. Djokovic has been rock solid all tournament long but he was making some uncharacteristic misses against Hurkacz.
Andrey Rublev's run at Wimbledon carries on after he beat Bublik in a five-set thriller. I think he's proved time and time again that he's one of the best in the world now and to see him at EVS just to win one set against Djokovic seems a really good price.
During the latter stages of Wimbledon last year, Djokovic dropped two sets to Sinner in the quarter-final and one set to Norrie in the semi-final. I'm by no means saying he falls off in the business end of tournaments but if the trends are anything to go off, Rublev can test Djokovic here.
Jannik Sinner to win 3-0 against Roman Safiullin
Jannik Sinner's career has been full of hype and he's delivered consistently on that hype as he finds himself yet again deep into a Grand Slam.
He faces Roman Safiullin who is on a dream run of his own but, unfortunately, I think that is set to come to a pretty brutal end. Sinner has been looking unstoppable at SW19 so far and has only dropped one set on his way to the quarter-finals.
Sinner comes in as a 1/7 favourite and with how he's playing on grass at the moment, I dont see the Russian offering much of a challenge. The last time these two played, Sinner also won in straight sets.
Marketa Vondrousova to beat Jessica Pegula
Both of these players have looked great coming into this game but I'd have to side with Marketa Vondrousova looking the better player so far.
She came in ranked 42nd in the world but has only dropped one set at Wimbledon which came in her last game where she was yet again priced as an underdog.
On top of this Vondrousova has had a very competitive route to the final with Vekic and Bouzkova both being prominent threats on the grass surface.
This is something that Jessica Pegula hasn't faced yet with all of her opponents being ranked lower than her. Vondrousova's last three opponents have all been higher ranked than her.
Prior to this Wimbledon, Pegula had never got out of the 2nd round at Wimbledon and I think the only time she has this time is due to a favourable draw. Vondrousova should be able to claim a win here and we're backing her to do so at 11/10.
