Wimbledon Day 6 Betting Tips: Nick Kyrgios stars in Saturday’s treble

After an entertaining opening five days of the SW19 tournament, we can now look forward to some tasty weekend Wimbledon duels, starting with Saturday's treble which is a whisker short of 10/1...
Wimbledon Day 6 Betting Tips
Coco Gauff vs Amanda Anisimova - Cori Gauff to win @ 4/9
It’s amazing to think that the ultra-talented Coco Gauff is still only 18, given that the American made her Grand Slam debut at Wimbledon aged just 15, back in 2019. She’s improving year after year and last month featured in the French Open doubles and singles finals, losing to the leading women’s player right now, Iga ÅwiÄ tek, in the singles.
At Wimbledon, Gauff has reached the fourth round on both occasions - losing to eventual champion Simona Halep in 2019 and former victor Angelique Kerber last year - something she’ll be bidding to emulate on Saturday when she locks horns with compatriot Amanda Anisimova, who will be playing her first ever third round match at SW19.
Gauff is a tad short for my liking, however she more than has enough in her locker to book her place in the fourth round for the third time in a row.
Nick Kyrgios vs Stefanos Tsitsipas - Kyrgios to win @ 8/11
Stefanos Tsitsipas may have emerged as one of the top performers on the men’s tour in recent years, but the Greek has never quite got to grips with Wimbledon’s grass courts. In four appearances he’s been dumped out in the first round on three occasions and reached the fourth round only once, in 2018.
The fourth seed must now face the brilliantly unpredictable Nick Kyrgios, who on his day is simply excellent on grass. So often other factors affect the enigmatic Aussie - who has surprisingly never matched the quarter-final he conjured up in his first ever Wimbledon showing - however, you can bet he’ll be fired up for this one.
After edging out Paul Jubb in the first round, Kyrgios enjoyed a dazzlingly dominant straight sets romp over Filip Krajinovic. Kyrgios boasts a 3-1 head-to-head record over Tsitsipas, including a recent win on grass in the last-16 in Halle Germany. He’s priced around the 3/4 mark to topple Tsitsipas on Saturday which he’s fully capable of doing should he maintain his focus, shut out the outside noise, and stick to his gameplan. Often easier said than done when it comes to the 27-year-old.
Paula Badosa vs Petra Kvitova - Kvitova to win in 3 sets @ 17/5
Considering she’s a two-time Wimbledon champion, the resurgent Petra Kvitova has gone somewhat under the radar so far. Out at 40/1 in the week leading up to this year’s tournament, consecutive wins have seen her odds dwindle to around 12/1 to triumph for a third time.
The Czech appears to have both her confidence and form back, she's currently enjoying a seven-match winning run on grass which includes a recent triumph at Eastbourne; the 29th title of her career.
There’s no doubt that Kvitova will be up against it in her third round clash with 4th seed Paula Badosa. While I expect it to be a hugely competitive affair, Kvitova’s experience and nous on grass should see her edge the contest in three sets, an outcome which springs out at 17/5.
