US Open Women's Final Betting Tips: Best three bets for Saturday's showstopper
After a multitude of matches and enthralling encounters, we're now down to the last two players on the women's side as Aryna Sabalenka takes on home favourite Coco Gauff in Saturday's US Open final.
Both players will be fighting for their first-ever US Open title, with Max Saakyan firing three of his best bets your way in this betting preview.
US Open Women's Final Tips
Aryna Sabalenka, who became the 29th player to be ranked number one in the world on the WTA tour after Iga Swiatek's loss to Jelena Ostapenko, will be fighting for her second Grand Slam title.
She survived a huge scare in the semi-finals, where she was 6-0 5-3 down to Madison Keys, but somehow managed to crawl back and win two tie breaks, securing her first ever final appearance in America.
On the other side we have Coco Gauff, with the 19-year-old reaching her second Grand Slam final of her career. An incredible feat.
The first one was back in 2022 at Roland Garros, where she lost to the clay Queen Iga Swiatek.
The American's run the past two weeks has been impressive, facing some tough players.
Her toughest opponent came in the form of Karolina Muchova, dispatching the Czech in straight sets 6-4 7-5 to secure a place in the final; in the process she became the first American teenager to reach the final since Serena Williams.
Despite Gauff's young age, the pair have already faced each other five times in the past, with the American leading the head-to-head 3-2.
Their first matchup was back in 2020, when Gauff was just 16 years old, and beat the already experienced Sabalenka in three sets.
Their latest meeting was at Indian Wells in the quarter-finals, where Sabalenka stormed past winning 6-4 6-0, and eventually made it into the final.
This is an interesting match up. Sabalenka has crazy power while Gauff can just be everywhere.
I think Gauff's defensive skills are really going to trouble Sabalenka, but at the same time we’ve seen in the past the Belarussian absolutely storming through when she’s on her game. Her match against Keys was a prime example of that.
This leads me to the picks, the over 2.5 sets look great value at 27/20, as well as a nice prop bet from William Hill in the Aces market, with 9/2 on offer for both players to have Over 4 Aces.
One last pick is both to hold their opening service game, I can imagine both will be a little tight at the start, so there’s some value in that pick at 43/50.
