Tottenham vs West Ham Prediction and Betting Tips: Two bets for capital clash
Tottenham take on West Ham on Thursday night live on Amazon Prime (8.15pm) as Ange Postecoglou’s side look to return to winning ways in the Premier League.
Both of these sides had to settle for a raw at the weekend but Spurs will be far happier with their point at the Etihad than the Hammers were about their result at home to Crystal Palace.

Ange Postecoglou had his team at the top of the table just a few weeks ago but four matches without a win has left them in 5th place.
The club are dealing with an injury crisis and it has no doubt had an impact on the team’s performance.
However, the Tottenham faithful will be encouraged by how the team have applied themselves through this difficult period. The style of play has remained consistent despite the absentees.
West Ham endured a torrid October but they have bounced back and are now five games unbeaten in all competitions. Michail Antonio is out for the Hammers but David Moyes’ has plenty of his players to choose from.
James Maddison is a big miss for Tottenham. They are also without Manor Solomon and Ivan Perisic in attack. Pape Matar Sarr is unlikely to return until Christmas and Rodrigo Bentancur remains out. Postecoglou described the injury list as the deepest of his managerial career but made it clear that both he and his players are up to the challenge.
Tottenham vs West Ham Tips
The first of our betting angles in the main bet builder is for Tottenham to have at least 13 goal kicks in the match. Ange Postecoglou’s side are the most fouled team in the league by some distance. Their opponents are averaging 15.14 fouls per game.
Tottenham’s opponents have made at least 13 fouls in their last five home matches in the Premier League.
Moreover, the bet365 free-kick market also includes opposition offsides. Postecoglou’s men are forcing the second most offsides in the division with their opponents averaging three per game. Tottenham utilise a high defensive and this lends itself nicely to catching the opposition attackers out.
West Ham are committing 12.14 fouls per away game this season and have an average of 2.14 offsides on the road. Tottenham should comfortably exceed the mark required for this bet to land.
We are combining the free-kick angle with over 6.5 goal kicks for the visitors.
Tottenham have prioritised attacking football this season and this has led to plenty of goal-kicks for the opposition. They are forcing an average of 8.17 goal kicks per game at home. Their opponents have had at least seven in five of those six matches. The exception was the defeat to Chelsea where they were reduced to nine men.
Our longer odds bet uses the same angles as the main bet but we need the home side to win at least 16 free-kicks and force 10 goal kicks.
Tottenham are averaging 19.6 free-kicks per game across their last five Premier League home matches so the higher line looks very achievable here. Their two home matches against fellow London club have seen them win 28 and 20 free-kicks.
West Ham have had more goal kicks than their opponent in all of their away matches in the league this season with an average of 10.71. David Moyes’ side have had 11 or more in five of their seven matches on the road.
