Rams vs. Buccaneers Betting Tips: Brady and the Bucs to overcome the Rams in Tampa

What a game we have in store here. Two of the NFC’s biggest sides, who won their divisions, face off in the Divisional Round to find out who reaches the Conference Championship next Sunday.

The defending SuperBowl Champions Tampa Bay come into this game on the back of a four game win streak, having dispatched the Eagles last weekend. The Rams have confidence coming into this fixture, beating the Cardinals in the previous playoff game, and knowing that they beat the Bucs in Week 3, although that was on home turf. As ever, we’ll look ahead to the game, and provide two tips for the clash.

First off, it’s hard to not go with a Bucs win in my eyes. They’ve got the experience of being in this exact position last year, on their way to SuperBowl glory. A key factor in this game as ever will be the QBs. Matthew Stafford threw for four touchdown’s and 343 yards in this fixture last time out, but it’s the imperious Mr. Tom Brady that has swayed my opinion for this one. Incredibly, Brady has more postseason wins and postseason passing yards than the other seven starting quarterbacks in the Divisional Round combined, a sign of his greatness.

Brady’s connection with Mike Evans will be key, as this partnership has scored in seven of the Bucs’ last eight games. This bet has landed in six of the Bucs’ last 10 games, and seeing as it’s the playoffs, it’s hard to see anything other than a Brady and Bucs win.

Now, I know this is a big projection, and my last one didn’t exactly work out so well (Bills/Patriots under 44 points), but, I feel I’ve learned my lesson! This time we’re going strictly for the overs market. This bet landed in the meeting between these two, where we saw 58 total points throughout the game. This bet has only come in once in the Bucs’ last three games (vs Panthers), and came close, missing by three points when they faced the Jets. 

This line landed four times for the Rams in the regular season, and they came very close to it on a number of occasions. The offensive talent that’s on display for this game makes me feel that we could be in for a treat, and 9/4 seems like the bet for me!
