Man City vs Man United Bet Builder Tips: Back Garnacho to be carded in 20/1 punt

Manchester City take on Manchester United on Sunday at The Etihad and we’ve compiled our best bet builder tips for the occasion. It’s a goalscorer and two players to be carded that we have taken a lean towards, with the trio being able to be backed at 20/1 with BoyleSports.
Pep Guardiola’s side have won five of the last six meetings between the two teams and will fancy their chances after going 11 games unbeaten in the top-flight. City can be backed at just 2/7 to claim all three points, while the draw is on show at 5/1.
The visitors had won five Premier League matches on the bounce prior to their defeat to Fulham last Saturday. That was Fulham’s first win at Old Trafford in 20 years and the market does not fancy United’s chances of causing an upset at Manchester City, pricing them all the way out at 10/1 for the victory.

Kicking off this three-pronged punt is Erling Haaland to get his name on the scoresheet anytime in the match. The Norwegian made it 27 for the season across all competitions as he bagged a stunning five goals in City’s 6-2 win over Luton in the FA Cup on Wednesday.
Haaland looks to be returning to prime condition ahead of the most important phase of the season and although he has only faced United three times in the Premier League, he has already scored five goals against them, including a hat-trick in the 6-3 win in this fixture last season.
United are experiencing an injury crisis in defence with Diogo Dalot their only fit full-back. Sofyan Amrabat is expected to line-up at left-back and Haaland could find plenty of joy against a makeshift back-four.
Our next selection is for Rodri to be carded. The midfielder has racked up nine more fouls than any other Man City player in the Premier League this season and leads the way when it comes to card-collecting. In the league has been shown seven yellows and one red, already surpassing his tally of five cautions in 2022/23. Rodri was booked when the teams met in the FA Cup final 10 months ago and we’re hoping for a repeat this time round as City look to close the gap on Liverpool.
Rounding off our 20/1 Bet Builder is Alejandro Garnacho to be carded. Only Luke Shaw and Bruno Fernandes have collected more yellow cards this season than the Argentine. It’s notable that 75% of his cautions have arrived in matches away from Old Trafford this term and he could well struggle having to help take care of Bernardo Silva and Julian Alvarez on his side of the field.
