Liverpool vs Crystal Palace Prediction and Betting Tips: 10/1 Jordan Ayew double available for Sunday
Two disappointing results in the last week leave Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool with a must-win fixture against Crystal Palace at Anfield on Sunday in order to regain a lead at the head of the Premier League table.

A fixture that seemed like a foregone conclusion on paper just a week ago now carries a significant threat with it. An 84th-minute equalising penalty from Mohamed Salah spared LFC's blushes from a second defeat in a few weeks at Old Trafford last Sunday, however, their ambitions of an unprecedented quadruple look incredibly slim after Atalanta rocked up and hit them for three in Thursday's Europa League quarter-final first leg.
Palace started and ended strongly against reigning champions Manchester City in last Saturday's early kick-off, but once Pep's men shifted into overdrive for the bulk of the allotted time, they ultimately proved their class. The Eagles still only have one win under new boss Oliver Glasner, but there have been some noticeable improvements since he replaced Roy Hodgson in South London.
Liverpool vs Crystal Palace Tips
Palace are still managing the minutes of linchpin Eberechi Eze upon his return from injury, with Glasner choosing to substitute him on the hour mark in last weekend's 4-2 defeat to Man City.
Even if it's a similar story on Merseyside, the price for a player of Eze's quality, regardless of venue and opposition, is one you should jump at the chance to back.
The 25-year-old creator has cleared this line in 13 of his 21 Premier League appearances this term, with 10 of the 23 SOT he's managed coming away from Selhurst Park.
Better yet, he's done the business for this selection twice against Arsenal, and on visits to Villa Park and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium despite an interrupted 2023/24 schedule.
The fact that he hasn't had one in either of his last two games is no cause for concern under the circumstances, and when you look at how Liverpool's defence is faring at the moment it could even be somewhat of a confidence booster to the attacking midfielder.
LFC have conceded in each of their last eight and are affording their opposition far too many chances without having the luxury of Alisson to bail them out.
Similarly, Jordan Ayew is a Palace player hot on the radar of opposition defences. Last season's most fouled Premier League player is a nuisance in and around the 18-yard box, proving his worth in this regard by registering a shot on target in 14 of his 29 league games this campaign - completing 1+ in six of his last nine.
Having managed one away at Chelsea, home and away versus Brighton and in matches away at Spurs and Wolves, he looks a strong candidate to repeat this feat at Anfield.
On the other hand, only Jefferson Lerma has more cards for Palace (7) than his tally of six in the Premier League this season. Entering this game, Ayew is level with Luis Diaz as committing the most fouls of any Liverpool or Palace player, with 43 given away in 29.
Contests with both Arsenal and Tottenham have returned a booking for the 32-year-old Ghanian and potentially dealing with Andy Robertson, Alexis Mac Allister and Luis Diaz down Liverpool's left is music to our ears for this half of the double.
