Kylian Mbappe Next Club Odds: Dream move to Real Madrid back on the cards

Kylian Mbappe is being linked with a huge move away from Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
Just before 11am on Monday 24th July, Fabrizio Romano reported that Saudi side Al Hilal had submitted a formal bid to Paris Saint-Germain in order to open talks for superstar Mbappe.
It is understood that the offer is in the region of £259m which would be a world record fee.
PSG, however, are adamant that their talisman has already agreed terms with Real Madrid with a contract ready to be signed.
Below, we look at the state of play in the betting.
Real Madrid - 8/15
As previously mentioned, Mbappe reportedly had an agreement to join Real Madrid next season on a free transfer but PSG are not going to allow that to happen.
This could force Real Madrid into an early move for the youngster and now they've got to come up with a bid that is acceptable for PSG, which of course is going to be hard to do with Al-Hilal dropping a €300m offer on the sporting world.
Real Madrid were as short as 4/11 a couple of days ago and are now at 8/15 to sign the Frenchman. Now that Mbappe has rejected Al-Hilal, Real Madrid have been installed as the new favourites in the betting market. I don't see Madrid forking out so much money at the moment knowing they could get him on a free soon but we'll have to wait and see.
Expect Real Madrid to act on this soon as he could get tied into another contract by PSG after rejecting a move to Saudi.
Any Saudi Arabian Club - 11/1
The market for Kylian Mbappe to join any Saudi Arabian Club is all over the place. Previously as big as 50/1 and then backed into 8/11 after a huge bid was made public. Now out to 11/1 it looks like the move is fizzling out after Fabrizio Romano reported that Mbappe has no intentions to move to Saudi Arabia.
The club in question is Al-Hilal and they have submitted a staggering world-record bid of €300m for the PSG forward which comes with a €200m-a-year salary which could potentially rise to around the €700m mark with other potential deals and image rights.
The numbers are just mind-blowing, never in a million years would you have said these numbers would be being thrown around for one footballer.
Just to give you an idea of how crazy the figures are, the breakdown of his proposed contract has been doing the rounds on Twitter;
- €700m a year
- €58.33m a month
- €13.3m a week
- €1.9m a day
- €79,900 an hour
- €1,332 a minute
- €22 per second
Over a grand a minute?! It's just insane isn't it!
PSG have been looking to sell the forward for the past few weeks after leaving him out of their pre-season tour. The reasoning behind that is supposedly to do with Mbappe having an agreement to join Real Madrid as a free agent when his contract expires. PSG of course do not plan on losing a player like Mbappe for free so they are trying to force a move for him to go to Saudi but the forward does not seem interested in the slightest when it comes to a move to Saudi Arabia.
Here's the latest update from Fabrizio Romano:
"Mbappé doesn’t want to negotiate with Al Hilal.
PSG sources believe he agreed a secret pre deal with Real Madrid.
PSG, convinced Kylian ONLY wants to sign for Madrid.
Al Hilal agreed terms with Verratti, as revealed — talks on with PSG."
PSG - 13/8
For those who fancy Mbappe to remain in France and spend another season at Paris Saint-Germain, 13/8 is available with several bookmakers.
It looks as though Mbappe is set on leaving the team eventually and it's doubtful that they will run down his contract and let him leave on a free.
If Al-Hilal is the only option, Mbappe might be forced into signing a new deal with PSG yet again. One thing is for sure, PSG have no intention of letting Mbappe go without a transfer fee.
Liverpool - 14/1
The hot rumour around social media at the moment is that Liverpool are plotting a one-year loan deal for Kylian Mbappe as he is being forced out of PSG. It's looking like not many clubs have the funds to match PSG's demands for Mbappe and a loan deal could be on the cards for the youngster.
Whilst it'd be really nice to see Mbappe in the Premier League and Liverpool fans would be the happiest fans on earth if Mbappe did sign, I don't see this happening. A loan deal would almost confirm Mbappe leaving on a free to Real Madrid and that is the last thing that PSG want.
14/1 is a big price to Liverpool and there could be something to this rumour but I don't see a world where PSG miss out on a sale for Mbappe. Their absolute priority is getting money from a sale for Kylian and a loan move would allow him to sort a deal with Real Madrid for when he is out of contract.
Man United, Man City, Arsenal- 33/1
According to reports, as many as five clubs have approached the French Champions about a potential deal for Mbappe.
Some of those are said to be Premier League outfits, with Man United, Man City, and Arsenal all available to be backed at 33/1.
